Sweet Cherries

Chapter 1

Alia's Pov

I suddenly woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I squinted at the time—7:00 AM. Napabangon na lang ako agad, knowing I had to start my day. First things first, I needed to cook breakfast. I headed straight to the kitchen, preparing my usual morning meal. After eating, I took a quick bath para mas fresh at energized before heading out.

By the time I finished getting ready, it was already 8:00 AM—time to leave for my cake shop. Oh yes, I own a cake shop! Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always dreamed of having my own. I guess it started with my love for chocolate cake, especially the ones with cherries on top. There’s just something about that combination that makes me so happy. And now, after years of dreaming, I finally turned that dream into reality.

As I arrived at the parking lot, I instinctively reached for my phone in my pocket—only to realize it wasn’t there. My eyes widened. "Oh no, I forgot my phone! Argh, kainis!" With a frustrated sigh, I turned around and hurried back to my condo.

Pagpasok ko sa kwarto, I immediately spotted my phone lying on my bed. "Ayan ka lang pala!" I chuckled to myself as I picked it up. When I unlocked it, I saw a message from Shanian. Napatingin ako sa oras—8:30 AM na pala! Napailing na lang ako with a small laugh. "Ang bilis ng oras!"

Shanian: ATE ALIAAAAAA WHERE ARE YOU? IT'S ALREADY 8:30am, KANINA PA ME HERE SA LABAS NG SHOP AND ANDAMI NG CUSTOMER NAGHIHITAY.
                     
                          Alia: ay hehehe sorry bebe, nakalimutan ko kasi phone ko sa condo don't worry I'm on my way na hihi, libre nalang kita lunch later.

Shanian: ay ganon ba sige ingat you :) sa favorite kong restaurant tayo mag lunch ha :)))

                          Alia: okayyy bebe.

Si Shanian pala assistant ko sa shop s'ya ang naka assign sa counter para tiga lista ng mga orders and tiga kuha ng bayad, ako naman tiga bake ng mga cakes.

Nakarating na'ko sa shop and nakita ko ang dami na ngang customer sa labas kaya lumabas na agad ako sa car ko. "Sorry ulit sha natagalan me hehe" I said, "it's okay lang ate Alia sinabi ko na naman sa customer natin na malapit kana, and libre mo naman ako ng lunch eh", she said. nginitian ko lamang s'ya  at binuksan ko narin ang shop, syempre lilibre ko s'ya lunch para pambawi ko sakan'ya, kapag libre talaga nagbabago agad mood n'ya eh.

Micah's Pov

it's already 9:00am when I woke up, I was about to get up my bed but suddenly I got a headache, I have a hangover because of last night arghhh, ito kasi si Clinton sabi ko last na beer na but she insisted that I have to drink more since it's her sister's birthday naman kaya wala na'kong nagawa pa.

I took a bath to get rid of my headache, after I took a bath I dressed in a white shirt and black pants and put on a black leather jacket and put some perfume. It's my day off so I want to relax, I was so stressed lately because of some paperworks in my office. I'm the new CEO  of Luna's Company it's my dad's company but he died 1 year ago. I'm only child so I'm the one who manage our company.

Today is my dad's 1 year death anniversary, I will pick up my mom so we can visit dad at the cemetery. We arrived at the cemetery and we brought foods to share because Clinton, gavi, and jaron are also coming so mom and I can be with them, they are close to mom so there is no problem. They also arrived so we all started to eat, after we ate we just talked for a while then we said goodbye to dad.
