Micah POV

When I woke up, Alia was still sleeping beside me. I was about to get up, but she wrapped her arms tightly around me. I thought she was still half-asleep, but then I realized she was already awake. "Let's stay like this," she said in her soft, sleepy morning voice. Ack! That morning voice of hers-it always gets to me. Lord, I swear, I'm not one of your strongest soldiers!

"Good morning, baby," I whispered, kissing her on the lips. "Good morning, foxy," she replied with a sweet smile. Her words made me grin, and I couldn't resist kissing her again, over and over. She just kept smiling at me, amused, as I continued to plant little kisses on her lips.

"Let's have breakfast now, baby ko," I said, trying to coax her out of bed. "Five more minutes, please," she pleaded, giving me those puppy-dog eyes. How could I say no? Honestly, I didn't mind either. I loved moments like this-just the two of us, wrapped up in each other's arms, savoring every second of togetherness. I could spend the entire day like this, holding her close.

After five minutes, Alia finally let go of me, stretching her arms above her head as she got up. I followed suit, getting out of bed. I kissed her lips again, and as she stood there smiling at me, I gently rubbed her belly. "Good morning, baby boy," I whispered, looking at her baby bump. Alia smiled warmly as I felt a little kick under my hand, and my eyes widened in surprise.

I glanced up at Alia, and she was already watching me, her face glowing with happiness.

"Wow, looks like the baby is awake too," I said, gently rubbing Alia's belly. I wasn't expecting it, but the baby gave another little kick, making us both laugh. "I think the baby, and mommy too, must be hungry," I said, smiling warmly at Alia before leaning in to kiss her on the lips.

"I'll prepare breakfast for us, baby," I told her, and she nodded with a soft smile. We both got out of bed, and Alia headed straight to the bathroom to wash her face. Since she was using the bathroom, I went out of the bedroom to wash up in the sink, leaving her to have her space. After freshening up, I figured it was time to prepare breakfast.

I walked to the fridge and checked what ingredients we had. I found some ham, so I thought I'd make us some sandwiches and add some eggs to the meal. Luckily, there was still some bread left, so I grabbed the ham and eggs from the fridge and got started on cooking.

First, I fried the ham until it was golden and crispy, then cooked the eggs, making sure they were just the way Alia liked them-sunny-side up with a perfectly runny yolk. While everything was cooking, I toasted the bread to give it a nice crunch. As I worked, I also decided to prepare a glass of milk for Alia, knowing it was good for her and the baby, and I made myself a cup of coffee to help me wake up fully.

Just as I was stirring the coffee, I heard Alia's voice from behind me. "Can I help you with anything?" she asked, her voice soft and a little playful.

I turned around to face her, smiling at how cute she looked in the morning light. "No need, baby, I've got this. You just sit and relax," I said, walking over to her. I gently pulled out a chair for her at the dining table and helped her sit down comfortably. Before going back to the kitchen, I couldn't resist giving her a kiss on the lips, savoring the sweetness of the moment.

"Thank you, love," she said, her eyes twinkling with appreciation as she watched me.

Once she was settled, I returned to the stove to finish making our breakfast. The kitchen was filled with the delicious smell of ham and eggs cooking, and the comforting sound of the coffee maker brewing in the background. As I worked, I couldn't help but feel content. Moments like these-just the two of us in our cozy home, starting the day together-were what made everything feel perfect. I glanced over at Alia, who was now rubbing her belly gently, talking softly to our little one, and I felt my heart swell with love.
