Micah POV

I woke up with a terrible headache. As I opened my eyes, I realized I was still in the living room, with Alia sleeping beside me. Hindi na pala kami nakalipat last night sa bedroom.

I took a moment to admire her beautiful face, then kissed her forehead before getting up to shower. I adjusted the blanket around her to keep her warm.

I headed straight to the bathroom, remembering that I hadn’t changed clothes last night. "Oh no, may kasalanan na naman ako kay Alia. I came home so drunk," I thought to myself.

I grabbed some clothes from the cabinet before going to the bathroom. Once I finished showering, I decided to make Alia coffee and cook breakfast to help ease her frustration with me.

I opted to fry some eggs and bacon and toasted some bread. After cooking, I make some coffee for both of us.

After I finished preparing our breakfast, I went to check on Alia, who was still sleeping in the living room.

I gently kissed her cheek, my way of waking her up. Slowly, her eyes began to open, and I couldn't help but smile at her. She looked so beautiful, and I felt myself falling more in love with her.

"Good morning, baby," I said, leaning closer to her to kiss her lips. "Good morning, foxy," she replied in her soft morning voice. That voice was so sweet; it always captivated me.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "I prepared breakfast for us; let’s eat," I said.

"Wait, I just need to wash my face," she said, getting up and heading to the sink. "I’m done; let’s eat," she announced after freshening up.

I pulled out a chair for her to sit down, then sat down myself. "Did you enjoy last night?" Alia asked, her face expressionless. I choked on my drink at her question, and she quickly handed me a glass of water. "Take it easy," she said as she passed the glass to me.

After finishing my drink, I was finally able to answer her question. "Uhm, just a little bit of enjoyment, hehe," I said, clearing my throat as I continued to eat. "Hmmm, okay," she replied, sipping her coffee.

"Uhm, how was the check-up?" I asked, trying to change the subject since I was nervous she might scold me for coming home so drunk last night. She took a bite of her bread before answering.

"It was fine. Dr. Daniela said the baby is healthy," she replied, taking another bite. "Good! I’m so glad my little one is healthy," I said happily, smiling at her. She just looked at me with a neutral expression, and I couldn’t tell if she was upset or not.

"Baby, are you okay? Are you mad at me?" I asked, standing up and moving closer to her, holding her hand. "I’m sorry for coming home drunk last night; Ms. Jane insisted I drink a lot" I said, scratching my head sheepishly.

"I'm not mad," she said briefly, looking away from me. I gently held her chin to turn her face toward me. "Baby, I'm really sorry," I said, pouting, and she pinched my cheeks.

"I'm not mad; I just have a really bad headache," she said, holding her head. "Do you want to take some medicine?" I asked, starting to worry about her.

"No need. I’ll just try to sleep it off; maybe mawala yung sakit ng ulo ko," she replied. I nodded and helped her stand up, guiding her to the bedroom.

Once we were inside, I assisted her in lying down and covered her with a blanket. "Baby, just sleep here, okay?" I said, kissing her forehead. "Where are you going?" she asked, furrowing her brow.
