After 2days

Today is Monday, Micah need to go back to her company because she still has a lot of paperworks left there because she extended a one-day break so she can bond and be with her mom. Maybe after her break ends, she might not be able to visit her Mom, 'coz she's busy with the company.

I was about to go but suddenly my phone rang, it was Gavi calling. Early in the morning? really Gavi? she's calling me already arghhh so annoying.

                             On call

Gavi: Hello, Micah?

Micah: Hello, Gavi it's so early why did you call?

Gavi: Uhm me and Clinton will visit to your company later.

Micah: Why?mangugulo lang kayo sa'kin eh tsk

Gavi: No, we need to talk about jaron's birthday surprise this coming Sunday.

Micah: Oh yeah I fogot HAHAHA, okay see you guys later.

                        call ended

This coming Sunday is Jaron’s 25th birthday, so we’re planning a surprise party for her. Even though she’s playful and mischievous, we still love her. Me, Gavi, and Clinton will discuss how we’re going to pull off the surprise because it’s really hard to surprise that bading—she always finds out, like she has a third eye or something.

I arrived at my company and was about to enter when I suddenly heard someone shouting my name. When I turned around, I saw Clinton yelling while running towards me with Gavi.

“Micah! Micah! Wait for us!” Clinton shouted.

I sighed and decided to stop walking so she would stop yelling. It was really annoying, and now a lot of people were staring at me because of her loud voice.

When they finally caught up, I rolled my eyes at Clinton. “Do you really have to shout like that?” I asked.

She just grinned. “Of course! Para di mo kami iwan.”

We finally entered my office, and I immediately called my secretary to prepare some snacks and coffee. I didn’t eat breakfast this morning, so I was starving. I asked Clinton and Gavi if they wanted anything to eat, but they both said coffee was fine.

Seryoso? Kape lang? Ang aga-aga, baka mag-acid kayo niyan,” I said, shaking my head. But since they insisted, I just added two cups of coffee for them while I waited for my own food to arrive.

“So, what’s the plan?” I asked, looking at Gavi and Clinton.

“Uhm, ako na bahala sa cake and food,” Gavi said. “Kayo na lang sa reception ni Clinton, and kung ano pa gusto n'yo idagdag para mas bongga.”

“Okay, ako na bahala sa reception,” I nodded. “And Clinton, ikaw na bahala sa iba pang kailangan—like decorations or anything na feeling mo makakadagdag sa surprise.”

Clinton nodded. “Sige, ako na bahala dun.”

We continued discussing more details—like the venue setup, what time we should arrive before Jaron, and how to make sure hindi siya makakahalata. It was tricky since may pagka-manghuhula ‘yung bakla, pero confident naman kami na this time, masusurprise na talaga namin siya.
