Darkness offspring

Internal struggle part 1

Acid gets up and looks around. He sees that he looks like a Vermillion with a combo of red and orange snakes.

Acid: ok, weird.

Acid has noticed that an unknown source of light is shining on the Monastery and when he opens that gates, he sees darkness all below. He slithers back to the center of the Monastery.

Acid: what? What is going on? (Hive mind: hello? Hello! Can anyone hear me?!) guys! Hello!

Mind Wu: no one can hear you.

Acid: (turns around and sees Wu) Wu?! (Goes up to Wu and hugs him) Wu! What is going on? Why am I here? And-

Mind Wu: now hold on, I'm not actually Wu. I'm just your vision of Wu.

Acid: (backs up) my ... vision ... of Wu? What do you mean? Can you please tell me what's going on?

Mind Wu: well once Aspheera hit you with that spell, your body somehow wouldn't be transported but instead you've became trapped, in your mind.

Acid: my ... mind? I'm in my mind? But why do I look like a Vermillion and why is everything in darkness outside of this place in darkness.

Mind Wu: well your mind is in a struggle. It has been for a while.

Acid: how long is a while?

Mind Wu: ever since Wu saved you from the tomb.

Acid: but why now?! Out of everything that has happened, why now?!

Mind Wu: because Aspheera hitting you with that spell was the chance that the Overlord could trap you in your mind.

Acid: but why! You're not explaining!

Mind Wu: hey, I'm just your vision of Wu. Not my fault.

Acid: (sighs) you got a point. (A darkness blast hits the gates) what was that?!

Mind Wu: that would be you, but your dark self. The darkness in you is trying to take over this place, which by you, this place is the only place which has brought you comfort and peace, that's why the Monastery is filled with light. While everywhere else has darkness.

Acid: so it's that yin and Yang thing Wu told me about. My darkness is fighting with me, Which is the light.

Mind Wu: yep.

Acid: but why is there so little light?

Mind Wu: because of Wu, he's the reason why (a darkness ball hits the gate) you are remotely good and the little piece of golden power that you still hold.

Acid: and the darkness is trying to destroy this light. Making me fully under the Overlord's control. (Sighs) so what now?

Mind Wu: we'll discuss this over some food, I bet you're starving.

Acid: yeah ... I am.

Mind Wu took Acid to the porch and created some food for him. All Acid could do was look at it.

Mind Wu: not hungry?

Acid: no, I am. (Eats a sandwich) so am I supposed to just wait here until the darkness takes over?

Mind Wu: that would seem like a simple solution but not the best one.

Acid: how so?

Mind Wu: what has Wu been teaching you. Anyways, you could let the darkness take over but that would mean that all your friends would die. Or you could fight back.

Acid: how can I?! I don't have my army, my time blades, or ... my friends. (A darkness ball hits the gate as he eats a apple)

Mind Wu: you can still try. How many foes have you faced and came back unscathed? How many times did the Overlord try to take over and you fought back? I thought you were fearless, that you are the strongest? What happened to that Acid?

Acid: well apparently that Acid was mostly my dark side.

Mind Wu: then take that side back. There might be two sides of you but there is only one Acid. So would you rather take back what's yours or leave it to the Overlord.

Acid: you're right, Wu. This is my mind, and I'm gonna take it back!

Mind Wu: thats the spirit.

Acid: so where would my dark self be?

Mind Wu: at borg tower. The place where-

Acid: where the Overlord was destroyed. (Sighs) Alright then, time to take back my mind.
