Above the water, Nya battles Kalmaar.
Kalmaar: You have become one with the ocean! Like that Nyad. A foolish sacrifice! (He blasts Nya, but this time the blasts just go through her.) For it will gain you nothing! You cannot hope to defeat me and Wojira!
Just then, the other ninja arrive.
Jay: Nya!
Nya: Jay. (She lets down her guard temporarily to gaze at Jay. Kalmaar charges up his trident.)
Jay: Nya, look out! (Kalmaar's blast disintegrates Nya.) No!
Kalmaar: Destroy the ninja! (Wojira's blasts send Jay and Wu flying back. Jay grabs Wu's staff and charges forward.)
Wu: Jay, wait!
Jay leaps onto Wojira and tackles Kalmaar, but is defeated.
Kalmaar: A foolish attack! Your emotions blind you.
Lloyd: (He sees Merlopians behind them.) We got company!
Acid: so do I. (A lot of Vermillion were brought by Blunk using the forward time blade)
Blunk: ha! See, I told you I'd get it!
Gripe: Attack!
Acid: attack!
Lloyd: Ninja, go! (The ninja and the Vermillion engage the Maaray Guards.)
Cole: Ninja, go!
Kalmaar: You are weak! Enjoy your last putrid breath while you have the chance, ninja! (Suddenly, Benthomaar attacks him, and Jay returns to the roof.)
Benthomaar: Enough! I will not allow you to harm my friends!
Kalmaar: You're no match for a king, adopted brother!
Benthomaar: I am not your brother. And you will never be my king! (They attack each other.)
Kalmaar: Father should have left you where he found you. You're nothing but fish bait!
Benthomaar: You will pay for what you did to him!
Kalmaar: I think it's time I taught you some respect! (He disarms Benthomaar and breaks his spear.) Bow down to your new king! (He kicks Benthomaar off Wojira.)
Benthomaar: (He manages to send an arrow at him, destroying his trident.) You're not my king!
Kalmaar: What have you done? (Wojira's eyes turn blue.) Destroy them! Destroy them! (He strikes Wojira with his broken trident, but she flings him into the air and swallows him whole.)
Acid: ha! He got Pythor'd! (The Vermillion cheer)
Raggmunk: yeah! I called it! Hand it over.
Machia: fine. (Hands him the pause time blade)
Raggmunk: yeah, sweet. (Uses the pause time blade to freeze a couple of guards and some Vermillion attacked them)
Lloyd: Run!
Wojira charges up to attack, when a ball of water and darkness strikes her. The attacker is revealed to be a dragon made of water and the Shadow Iron Doom.
Lloyd: Is that Nya? (Nya roars)
Kai: It sounds like her.
Cole: And she looks ticked off.
Acid: I would be too.
Nya engages Wojira in the form of a dragon, but is disintegrated again, this time by Wojira's blasts. The Shadow Iron Doom slashes her and pins her down on the building.
