Multiverse part 5 finale

[A/N]: Acid will be in the OG timeline from the actual show.

Acid comes out of the portal and crashes down in the Monastery. A younger Wu rushes out and sees what is going on.

Wu: oh, dear.

Wu sees that the black smoke goes away, revealing Acid. He goes to check up on him and sees that he's unconscious. Wu picks him up and takes him inside to heal him.

Acid: (wakes up in a bed) same old, same old.

Wu: (opens the door and sees that Acid is awake) hello there.

Acid: hi.

Wu: is something the matter?

Acid: no, no. It's just that I'm trying to find my home. But haven't had any luck.

Wu: hm, well let's go to a brighter area and talk about this.

Wu and Acid go outside and sit down while drinking tea.

Wu: (chuckles) tea always helps me relax, don't you think?

Acid: yeah ...

Wu: did I say something wrong?

Acid: no, it's just that I'm tired.

Wu: tired? Well I'll be too if I came crashing down like that.

Acid: heh, you think?

Wu: yeah, I mean, I didn't really see it but you know ...

Acid: (sips tea) I do know. Happened multiple times before I got the hang of it. Hey, it's very quiet here.

Wu: well this Monastery is on top of a mountain and with no one around.

Acid: no, I mean where are the ninja?

Wu: ninja? There are none here.

Acid: what do you mean? Kai, Zane, Cole, Jay, Nya, you know, those ninja?

Wu: nope, just me here.

Acid: (mind: if they're not here then does that mean ... I'm in the past of a different universe to where Wu didn't find them yet.) must be pretty lonely, right?

Wu: yeah you could say that. But it's not that bad.

Acid: anyways, like I said, I'm trying to get home. But the problem is, is that I keep being in the wrong location.

Wu: that does sound troublesome. Could you tell me what happened, and maybe I could try to help.

Acid: for starters, I was in a fight and I was hit with a banishing spell, then I got trapped in my own mind, then sent to a different universe than my own. Another Wu told me to think about my home and maybe the spell will take me there. But so far it has taken me to universes that are like my home but is not.

Wu: hmm, you said it was a banishing spell, correct? (Acid nods) the. That's the issue. You're using a banishing spell to find your home. So instead of going to your home, you're-

Acid: going to a different universe of my home.

Wu: right!

Acid: but if that's the case. Then how will I reverse it?

Wu: that, I do not know.

Acid: (sighs) thank you for that great wisdom Wu.

Wu: heh, only a fool knows everything.

Acid: still very wise though. Ok time to try this (holds the staff forward) one more time. (Sighs and looks at Wu) thank you Wu.

Wu: for what?

Acid: for always helping me in any universe. (Focusing on his Ninjago with all his might)

The staff shot out a ball and Acid go in front of it, he got hit and disappeared. In the Vortex, it was completely different. Instead of just everything being blue and spinning. It became black and there was a light at what seemed to be an end.

Acid: could it be? (Slithers to the light and reaches it) please be my home. (Goes through it as he shields his eyes from the light)

Acid now appears in a hallway in the Monastery.

Acid: huh? (Sees the pictures on the walls and sees that he's in them) could ... could it be?

Acid then slithers outside and sees the ninja. The ninja all looked at him in shock, no one said anything.

Wu: A-Acid? Acid! (Runs up and hugs Acid while in tears) it's really you!

The others come up and hug him.

Acid: am I ... am I really home?

Wu: yes Acid, you are!

Nya: we've missed you so much! We thought you were gone for good.

Acid: I'm .. home. I'm actually ... home!

The ninja wouldn't let go and kept hugging Acid until they all went inside to talk about the things that went on. The ninja have told him about how they went to the Never-realm and Kai getting his powers back, then going into a video game, stopped someone from enslaving creatures, and then going to an island.

Acid: that sounds like quite an adventure.

Jay: sure was.

Cole: so how about you Acid, what did you go through?

Acid: well at first I was trapped in my own mind. But then I went to multiple universes and stuff.

Zane: multiple universes?

Acid: yeah, it was strange and everything.

Jay: was there anything different?

Acid: well ... I went to one where you were a woman!

Jay: what?!

Kai: (laughs) ok, this I got to see.

Acid: very well, I took pictures.

The ninja except Jay laugh as Acid looks at them happily.

Acid: (Overlord: I don't understand. You could've just been in any dimension and it would've been fine. Why did you try so hard to get here?) (mind: because at the end of the day, this ... this is where I belong.)
