Firefly, turning to Glory: So, I want to know when you're going to start dating Deathbringer. Because he's my dad and you're my mom, and I really want to exist outside of a possible future timeline.
Moon: I knew I recognized you from somewhere!
Firefly: *jaunty salute* Yup, that's me, on page 294 of your book. Or check out the graphic novel, I'm the cute one.
Glory: *sighs and shakes her head* You got that from your father, didn't you?
Firefly: Yeah, pretty sure that's correct. Anyway, like I said. When are you going to start dating Deathbringer?
Glory: *glances at Deathbringer*
Deathbringer, to Wren: For the last time, my name is not Murderbasket!
Glory: I was thinking never.
Firefly: Seriously? Oh, come on... *sighs* I'm gonna go tell Sunny to get you two together. She's probably my best chance.
Glory: *mom voice* Young lady, you will not-
Firefly: SEE?! You'd be a great mom! You have just the right voice and everything! Sooo... why not?
Glory: Go to your room.
Firefly: I WOULD, BUT I'M STUCK IN THIS GIANT PRISON.
Firefly: Also, you just proved again that you'd be an awesome mother.
Glory: WHY ARE YOU SUCH AN ANNOYING TEENAGER?!?
Firefly: I GOT THAT PART FROM YOU!
Kestrel: I'll vouch for that.
Glory: Shut your face, you're dead.
Kestrel: *spreads talons* Not here.
Firefly: I'm gonna go hang out with Dad, at least he's on my side. *walks away*
Glory, yelling after her: Because he's an insufferable flirt!
