Miya Centric:
"Hey Yami! I thought you'd be free by now," Kyra's familiar deep voice rang out through the room.

A smile instantly formed on Miya's face. Seeing or hearing her sister always made her day better, no matter how bad it had been.

"Hey guys," she greets back casually. All the members of Black Forest were there for the video this time.

"We just wanted to know how your first unofficial day went," Jimin says, the worried tone in her voice noticeable as the other members nod in agreement.

Miya was always grateful to have people who cared about her so much. Even though her sister and best friends could be overprotective at times, she knew it was only because they got worried about her.

"Did they do anything? If they did... I'm going to kill them. I swear," Ailee cuts in, a glare on her face just frol the thought of it.

Miya knew Ailee wasn't joking. The latter was taller than 6 out of 8 of the boys, and she wasn't much shorter than the other two, either. She should definitely take them on if she wanted to.

"Don't worry, Airy. They didn't do anything. I'm fine," she replies, flashing a fake but convincing smile. Ailee seems to believe her, as she visibly relaxes after hearing her nickname.

Yoona replies after a pause. "If you say so. Now tell us about your day. Don't miss any details," The others nod in agreement, impatient but excited grins on their faces. Miya chuckles. If only they knew the truth...

Time skip:
Miya had told Black Forest everything... while concocting a whole different story as opposed to what had actually happened. After that, they just talked about random things. It felt good to talk with her sister and best friends, especially with all that had happened that day. She didn't even realise that an hour had passed.

"Okay, guys. I should get going. I need to get some rest, and you must be exhausted from how much you have to work," Miya says. She wanted to spend more time with them, but she knew they were way more tired than her.

Yoona pouts slightly, but acquiesces as a yawn slips past her lips. "Hmm... okay, I guess. We do have to go. We'll call again in a few days. Bye!" she says, blinking her fox-eyes repeatedly due to tiredness.

"Bye, girls!" Miya says, waving as they wave back. Kyra ends the video call.

Miya lays down on her bed, letting out a sigh. "I guess I should eat and then try to sleep. Keyword being try," she says to no one in particular.

Third Person POV:
Han walked away from the door to Miya's room, leaning against a wall in the hallway. He thought back to what had just happened...

Han, having lost a game of rock-paper-scissors, was sent to Miya's room to call her for dinner. He stood outside the door for a few seconds, debating on what to do when he heard something that made him stop short.

'Did they do anything? If they did... I'm going to kill them, I swear.' he recognised that voice. It was Ailee of Black Forest. He was a bit confused until he realised.

"Oh. They're probably checking in on her," he thinks. He decided to continue eavesdropping to see if Miya would actually rat them out. His curiosity had been peaked, too. He had to admit...

He heads back to the kitchen where the others are. 'Guess she's not a snitch, huh?' He thinks, smirking a little as he walks.

"What took you so long?" Chan asks with some food in his mouth as everyone turns to look at Han as he enters the kitchen.

"No reason... and Miya won't be eating with us," Han replies dismissively, sitting in an empty seat next to Minho.

"O... kay," Jeongin says, a little confused but doesn't question it further. "Wait. Won't she tell on us?" he then asks, making the other's eyes widen at the thought.

"Rest assured. She won't. Trust me," Han replies casually, a smirk on his face as he takes a bite of his tteokbokki. The others just accept it when they see how confident he is.

"Whatever you say," Hyunjin says, side eyeing him for his weird behaviour.

Miya Centric:
Meanwhile, Miya was currently snuggled up in her bed. Being the foodie she was, she always had some food on her. She was thankful she had some snacks, as she didn't want to be alone in a room with her dorm mates for another second. She made a mental note to get more substantial food later. She would probably get takeout tomorrow, though.

She was scrolling through YouTube to pass time, as she munched on some cherry flavoured pockeys Kyra had gotten for her.

She blocked out the sounds of laughter as the boys enjoyed their dinner. She just wanted some time to herself. She felt so unwelcome and alone, and a part of her wanted to cry... But another part of her couldn't bear to cry. Not for them, at least.
