"They said explore, let's explore." I grab Blaze's lead and hand it to Remi, I help her on and run over to Carl, Judith and Lilian. We walk down a road and am old man and woman stop us. "Is that a baby? And little girl, oh how precious." Carl and I walk over to the two, the woman puts her hand on her heart gasping. "They're beautiful, what are you're names dear?" I set Lilian down and hold her shoulders. "I'm Max, this is Lily, Carl and the baby's Judith."

  The man extends his hand, I shake his hand and so does Carl. "Are they your siblings?" I shrug. "Carl and Judith are siblings, Lily is my daughter." The woman nods her mouth in an o shape. "I'm Natalie, this is my husband Bob, it's lovely to meet you both. If you don't mind me asking how old are you?" I smile and pick up Lilian. "Im sixteen, Lily is seven, Judith is close to a year old, and Carl's fifteen." She smiles and shakes my hand. "Lovely to meet you, and who is this gentleman?" I turn around Rick walking up the steps, he shakes both their hands smiling. "I'm Rick Grimes, Carl and Judith's father." Rick takes Judith and Lilian from me and Carl holding both of them. "Jessie said her son wants to meet you, go over and hang out both of you, please."

"Were almost always here after school, you guys can come by any time." I walk behind Carl my hand on his hips, listening to Ron yap. "Wait, school?" I look at Ron who nods. "It's in a garage, little kids go in the morning, then us in the afternoon. Probably you guys too right?" Carl nods. "Carl probably, Deanna said she's giving me a job." We get to Ron's room to three other people in there. "Guys, this is Carl and Max. Carl and Max, this is Mikey, Enid and Ray." "Hey" Mikey stands up and moves next to Ray. "Enid and Ray are from the outside too, Enid came eight months ago Ray came like five months ago." I pull the comic from Carl's back pocket and hand it to Carl. "Is this any of yours?" Enid takes it back quickly not to touch carl. "It's Enid's, sorry we didn't know yall got that house. We mostly just hang there listen to music." "Want to play video games? Or Mike's house has a pool table, but his dad's kinda strict about it." Mikey shrugs. "He's at work" "Um.." I stand next to Carl moving my hand around to his waist. "Sorry, guess we came on kinda strong. You don't have to talk, took Enid three weeks to say something to us, we could just talk get to know eachother to." "We could talk I guess, of yall are good with that?" Ray nods and sits cross legd on the floor, I sit next to Ron across from Ray pulling Carl with me.

"Okay, how old are you two?" Ray hands me a cigarette already lit. "Sixteen, Carl's fifteen. You guys?" I take a puff of the cigarette blowing the smoke out and passing it to Carl, he declines handing it to Enid wiping his hands on my pants. "I'm seventeen, Enid's sixteen, and Ray is sixteen." I nod and get passed the cigarette again, I take a puff and blow it up to the celing. "You guys got girlfriends? Siblings?" I nod and pass the cigaretteto Enid. "Remi the girl with the missing part to her leg, my sister. Judith the baby is Carl's sister, and Carl's my boyfriend." Ron takes a puff passing it to me. "Cool, uh we all should hang out. Everyone I mean, your sister, both of you how many others are there?" A list of names and faces pop into my head I count out five. "Five more, Willow, Faith, Rayia, Sophia, and Quin for one's our age. My kid, shes seven, names Lily." Enid puts her comic down looking at me curiously. "That would make you a dad at nine." "Adopted her last year, not biological but I've been taking care of her sense she was little, so I was a dad at thirteen basically." Enid puts her comic down and nods. "I like you guys, welcome to Alexandria." I nod shaking her hand. "Is Carl also her dad?" I look to Carl who looks over to Enid braking out of his head. "Kinda, she hasn't said nothing yet." Carl shrugs.

"You guys got an extra cigarette back or two? Or know where I can find em?" Ron tosses me a lighter and a pack with two left. "Got some at the pantry, easy to sneak in, welcoming party will be soon. Everyone will be there you can sneak in get some." I nod and salute him. "You're a good man, thanks." I wave to them and walk out with Carl, we get downstairs and walk outside to Jessie looking at the horse on her porch confused. "Hey, is this yours?" I take Blaze's lead and help Carl on getting behind him giving Carl the reins. "Yeah, sister probably dropped it off. Thanks Jessie." I pat Blaze and she starts walking off Carl leading her back to the house.
