THEY HAD TAKEN THE MAN TO THE MEDICAL ROOM. They waited for Charles to arrive as both Jean and Anakin had address the man's wounds. Once he arrived, Charles statutes out in his chair, leaning over to look at the man. "Senator Kelly. I'm Professor Charles Xavier."
"I was a toad if I went to a hospital, they would-" the man breathed hard.
"treat you like a mutant? We're not what you think. Not all of us."
"Tell it to the ones who did this to me."
Charles frowned, then using the handle on his chair to make to move to the head of the gurney.
Anakin had taken a step back, leaning next to Logan.
"Senator," Xavier began. "I want you to try and relax." He placed his hands onto the sides of the man's head. "I'm not going to hurt you."

"The machine emits radiation that trigger mutation on ordinary human beings." Xavier explained.
"But the mutation is unnatural," Jean speaks. "Kelly's body is rejecting it his cells began to break down almost immediately."
"What effect does radiation have on mutants?" Scott questioned.
"There appears to be none," Charles spoke. "But I fear it will seriously harm any normal person exposed to it."
"So, what does Magneto want with Rogue?" Logan questioned.
"I don't know." Charles says.
Logan threw his bag on the ground, upset.
"Well, Rogue is one of the most powerful mutants we've come into contact with," Anakin said. "And depending on who else he has on his side, if she takes their powers-" he makes a gesture, the ending going unsaid but know. That Magneto may succeed in his plan.
"Wait a second." Scott speaks up. "You said this machine draws its power from Magneto, and that it weakened him."
"Yes. In fact, it nearly killed him." Charles said.
"He's gonna transfer his power to Rogue and use her to power the machine," Logan realized.

"Cyclops, you and Storm ready the get. Jean, you come with me, I'm gonna find Rogue. Azreal, get Logan a uniform." Charles ordered.
Immediately, Scott stands up. "Whoa, wait a minute; he's not coming with us, is he?"
"No, Scott, Professor said to get him a suit, so, he can stay here, and have another tour of the building," Anakin sarcastically spoke.
Scott gave him a sarcastic smile back.
"Yes." Charles answered.
"I'm sorry, Professor, but he'll in danger this mission-" not to mention Anakin.
"Hey, I want the one who gave the train station a new sunroof, pal," Logan immediately disagreed.
"No, you were the one who stabbed Rogue on the chest."
"Scott!" Anakin yelled, disbelief at his words.
"Hey, why don't you take your mission and stick it up your-"
The door opened, revealing Storm, who looked extremely worried and scared. "Senator Kelly is dead.
"I'm gonna to find her." Charles spoke. "Settle this."
As Charles left the room, Anakin sighed, taking Logan's wrist into his hand. "You two," he gestured to Logan and Scott. "stop behaving like children. I'll go show Logan where the suits are."
