Juliet sneaks out of the manor in middle class attire and heads to 221B.
Although, Fred follows her until he figures out where she's going. He tells Moran and the said man sighs.
"Louis would be cross if we told him but I don't think Will or Al will mind."
"Didn't William say she wasn't to see Romeo anymore?"
"I don't think she's there for Romeo," Moran grumbles.
"You think she's there for Sherlock?"
Moran crosses his arms. "I can't be sure but I would assume so."
Fred frowns but nods.

Juliet smiles as she knocks on the door.
Mrs. Hudson smiles as she opens the door. "Oh hello darling. I wasn't expecting you. Are you here to see Romeo? He's only just left I'm afraid."
The girl shakes her head. "No. I'm here to see Sherlock."
The woman laughs and nods, opening the door for her to come in. "He and John are upstairs."
"Thank you Mrs. Hudson." Juliet walks in and goes upstairs.
John looks over and smiles at Juliet. "Hello dear, what brings you here?"
"You shouldn't be here. I have a case and Romeo isn't here." Sherlock adds, walking past her.
"Perfect. I'm coming with you."
"No you're not." Sherlock mumbles, walking downstairs.
"Juliet it's not safe for you to come." John adds, following them down.

"I will be a valuable asset. You know I can help. Plus I don't want to go back home."
Sherlock pauses at the front door. He figured it would get stuffy eventually. "Did you sneak out?"
"Yes but they had me followed and know where I am."
"But they do not know where we are going."
"They do not need to know. So long as I come back alive it won't matter."
"William will not think so and neither will Louis."
"I don't care. I want to be here with you. How will I hone my skills if I don't get practice?"
Sherlock crosses his arms and turns to the girl.
She mirrors him.
"For some reason I am unable to deny you. Fine but you have to keep up."
Juliet smirks and nods. "No problem."

Sherlock walks into Scotland Yard with Juliet following him.
Lastrade walks over with a case file and hands it to the detective. "Who is this trailing behind you?"
"My little helper." Sherlock mumbles and the two look through the file.
"Helper? Since when you have brought on a child?"
"Holmes! This isn't a playground. Get this child out of here." Gregson scolds, pointing at the girl.
Juliet opens her mouth but Sherlock puts his hand over her mouth.
"Don't worry ya coot, we'll be out of your hair in a jif."
The brunette growls and taps his foot quickly, arms crossed.
Sherlock hands Juliet the file and they leave the Yard.

Juliet pouts softly and looks at him as they ride away. "Did you have to cover my mouth."
"Your sass is the last thing we needed. Now tell me, what do make of this case?"
"Well based on this evidence I have three possible culprits."
"Wow. I had five. Now the question is: did you over simplify or did I miss something?"
Juliet explains her persons of interest and why, surprising the detective.
"I guess I missed a couple things. You're getting really good at this."
"I learned from the best."
"Me of course."
"No my father." She corrects, looking through the file.
Sherlock's mouth drops. "You cheeky little-"
"Uh-uh Mr. Holmes. You are in the presence of a lady. You mustn't curse."
"I see no lady." He grumbles and crosses his arms.

Upon arriving at the scene Juliet goes stoic and professional.
"Are you going to be sick?"
"Of course not. My stomach is strong."
"I would not think so after your display several weeks ago."
"That was not my stomach but uterus therefore your point is invalid."
Once again Sherlock pouts at her correction but smiles softly.
"I should like to keep you instead of giving you back to Liam."
"I enjoy your company Mr. Holmes. I cherish the knowledge you give me and the things we do together. But I would miss my family too much."
"I already have Romeo. I can't afford another child."

Juliet looks up from the dead body. "Surely you would not prefer me to him."
"What kind of father would I be if I agreed? He may irk me for more than one reason but I do love him. He is my flesh and blood. If I more bold I would hope for you as a daughter-in-law though. Unfortunately we all know that can't happen."
"Sometimes I wish I could run away. Somewhere where I can just be Juliet, not Juliet Moriarty the noblewoman."
"I would miss your company." Sherlock mumbles, bending over the body.
"I would miss yours as well. You won't tell papa what I've said here will you? I don't want him putting me on lock down because he thinks I'll run away."
"Nah. I know you wouldn't actually go through with it."

After solving the case Sherlock treats the girl to coffee and cake.
Juliet sits across from the man at a cafe.
Sherlock drinks his coffee while Juliet takes a bite of her cake. "I can't believe you solved the case before me."
"I'm shocked you didn't pick out the murderer from my three options."
"Well I needed more evidence but by the time I got it you shouted the man's name." Sherlock chuckles and shakes his head. "If I let you keep coming with me I might be out of a job."
"Then we can do something else. How is the experiment we started coming along?"
"Exactly how you said it would. Also frustrating. I hoped for a variation but didn't get one."
Juliet looks down at her cup and saucer. "I want to thank you Sherlock. I am grateful for you allowing me to spend time with you. I know it is improper for a lady to do any of these things but you've given me the opportunity. I wish there was something I could do or something I could give you in return."

Sherlock smiles softly and leans back in his chair. "You gave me next month's rent." He jokes and laughs, causing the girl to laugh as well.
"Yes I know that."
"But I've also enjoyed our time. You don't have to give me anything in return."
"Can I keep coming over then?"
"Romeo will be jealous when he finds out."
"Then don't tell him."
"Hmm, I suppose."
Juliet laughs softly.
"Is your cake ok?"
"It's yummy. You want some?"
Sherlock shakes his head. "I'm good. Let's get you back to the Moriarty manor before they break down my door."

Juliet sighs but nods.
The two take a carriage back to the manor.
Sherlock stays inside while Juliet gets out.
"Thank you again for today. I had a lot of fun."
"You're welcome. Come by anytime."
"I will." She curtsies and walks to the door.
Louis immediately opens the door, glaring at her.
"Where have you been?"
She looks at him confused. 'I guess Fred didn't tell him where I went. I guess that's for the best.'
Louis crosses his arms.
"Sorry uncle. I was called on and asked to join him in town. No one was around but I thought it would be ok."
"A nobleman called on you? Who was it? Where did you go? You should have told someone."
"Nothing bad happened I promise. I may even see him again soon."
"I should tell William at once. He will need to take action."
"Can we please keep this a secret, at least for now? It's embarrassing and I don't even know for sure if it will work out. I don't want to bother papa if nothing were to come of this. You know?"
Louis frowns but nods. "Yes, I understand. Fine, but you must tell me when you are leaving to visit him."
"It's a deal. Thank you uncle." She kisses his cheek then goes up to her room.
Although she feels bad for lying she knew she couldn't tell him the truth.
She doesn't want to stop seeing them and she won't.
