Chapter 27

Joyce POV:

I woke up in a room with my hands chained to a chair. What the fuck happened?! First I was cooking amd now Im here! My mare is panicking. She keeps trying to reach Michael but the connection is very weak. I sigh. Why always me!

Suddenly the door swung open and I saw the most disgusting face Ive seen. Garth Knight stood there. He kidnapped me, the asshole. He walked in with a smug on his face. "Well well, what do we have here. Michaels ex-wife." He said and wanted to touch me but my mare snarled at him. He looked evilly. "Yes, I kidnapped you. Im taking whats mine." He said and I turned my head away. He grabbed my chin and let me look at him. "What does that son of a bitch have what I dont have?!" He said and he let me go. "You chose that piece of shit over me. Bad choice." He said and laughed evilly. "Im gonna make you my wife and want my child of you." He said and my eyes went wide. Hellno. Never. "And you have also a special gift my precious. You are a horseshifter." He said. I almost puked of the "my precious." Im not a fucking possession. When he said I was a horseshifted I gasped. "How do you know that." I said too calm, cause I was about to let my horse out. "Well, the last time we met, I saw you shift. And me likey powerfull women." He said and he grinned. "Please release me from those handcuffs. They hurt me." I said and looked at him begging with puppy eyes. "Okay, Ill get rid of the handcuffs but, if you try to escape, Ill kill you." He said and I gave in. He removed the handcuffs and I sighed in relief. My wrists were hurting as fuck. He sat down in front of me. "You do what I say, or youll be killed. Michael wont rescue you." He said and he laughed. "Ill let him run around and he will never find you. Ill take care of that." He said and stood up. He threw the door shut and I started crying. Why did I deserve this? Why it happens to me. I broke down crying. I dont know what to do anymore. Michael will save me, I know that. He would never let me stay here with that creep. Never. I tried to mindlink him but my message didnt come through. It makes me so frustrated. My mare either doesnt know what to do. She knows Garth. When he wants something he will get it and never let it go. Im affraid Michael will never come and save me.

Garth came back with food and I saw KARR stand there. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. KARR was destroyed and wasnt rebuildable. "You have KARR?!" I said panicking. He smiled. "Yes, I rebuild him. And hes stronger than ever." He smiled proud. He gave me the food and I carefully ate it. "Joyce, I wont poison you." He said and walked out of the door again. Im fucked. Im not coming out of this alive.

Michaels POV:

I kept searching for Joyce. I have to find her. Ive investigated the place where she dissapeared and KITT found tiretracks. And he was shocked. "Michael, this are KARRs tracks." He said and my eyes went wide. We destroyed him years ago. That bastard build him up again. Justin wasnt at home but he gave permission to investigate. I closed off the place and called Devon with the news. "But KARR is destroyed! He cant be around!" Devon said shocked. I sighed. "Garth build him up again. He kidnapped her with KARR." I said and hung up. I asked KITT for Garths mansions around the country. He had 7 mansions here in the US and 5 in Mexico. "Lets start with the closest mansion here." I said amd started KITT. I sped off to the first mansion.

We drove a 3 hour drive to the first mansion. When we got there I asked KITT to scan the place. I stepped out and went searching for clues. I silently investigate the place but no sign of Joyce. I asked KITT on my comlink for clues but he didnt find anything. And nobody was here. My gut dropped to my feet. I have to find Joyce. Garth knows shes a horseshifter and he'll kill her after he used her. I miss her so fucking much. I want her to come back to me. And I never let her go again. Im not gonna make the same mistakes again.

I stepped in KITT and drove to the next mansion. That was another 3 hour drive. When we arrived, KITT scanned three people in the building. I asked KITT for silentmode and to keep his scanners peeled. I stepped out and sneaked in silently. KITT messaged me on my comlink that the people were in the back room, but no sign of KARR. I kept sneaking around and didnt found any clue. I sighed. This is gonna be a long investigation. I sneaked out again and KITT opened the door for me. We drove off in silentmode. When we were halfway to the next mansion, Justin called me. I pulled off at the side of the road and picked up. "Hey, did found her yet?" He asked hopefully. Sadly I couldnt give him a hopefull answer. "Sadly not man." I said and he hung up again. I knew something was about to happen. I want to find her and save her. I want her back in my arms again. I cant inmagine my life without her. I want to make up my mistakes with her. The only thing that makes me doubting is: will she forgive me? I really hope she does. That she leaves Justin and comes back to me. That I can marry her again and grow old with her.
