Chapter 16

Joyce POV:

I just made myself ready for my next mission. I had everything ready and put my mask and contacts in. I walked out of the cabin and shifted into my black horse. I galloped away quickly and jumped some trees, which were fallen down. I loved to run.

When I arrived on the spot, I saw that KITT was here. I shifted invisible into humanform and ran to KITT. "Mystery Girl, Garth Knight had captured Michael." he said and I ran into the building. I kicked the door open and got my Glock out of my pocket. I pointed it to Garth. "Let. Him. Go." I spat coldly. He looked shocked. "I never expected Mystery Girl to be here. What a surprise." he said smirking evilly with his hands held up. "Let him go now." I said again. Then I saw he had backup. I defeated them all. I shot them quickly and walked to Garth. "You want to be the next victim?" I asked smirking and my horse felt victory. She masked her self though. He shook his head quick, and I handcuffed him. I released Michael and I walked to Garth. "Why you didnt call or signal me?" I asked. Michael looked at me. "I wanted to do this alone. But that wasnt smart." he admitted. I gave him Garth. I had my initials carved on his chest. "My work is done." I said when Michael had Garth in KITT. When I walked away, Michael pulled me into his chest. "What I can do to thank you?" he said softly. "You dont have to do anything." I said to him and suddenly he kissed me. Holy shit. I kissed back and pulled away. I walked away. "Ill see you later." I said and ran away. I shifted into my horse and galloped away. I bucked and jumped a bit. When he kissed me, I heard clicking of camera's. Shit. Well, they didnt see my face so that aint a problem, at least I hope so. I came back to my cabin and shifted into my human form. I walked into my cabin and changed my clothes and put everything away. I take out my contacts and wash my face and hands, which were covered in blood. It was late, so I went to bed straight after.

The next morning I woke up, and saw that it was pretty late. I stepped out of bed quick and put on some clothes. I combed my hair and put some make up on. I close my cabin and shift into my horse. I galloped to Michael quick.

When I arrived there, I saw him working on KITT. I reared and neighed softly, trying not to scare him. I shifted and walked to him. When he saw me, he dropped everything and held me tight. I kissed his lips softly and I felt him kiss back. I pulled away, and he walked with me inside. There I find the newspaper with the picture of me as Mystery Girl and Michael kissing. Shit. Ill act Im hurt. He still dont know its me. "Michael what is this?!" I ask him raising my voice. "Mystery Girl and Michael Knight together? We found them together like this after Mystery Girl helped Knight with his evil twin brother Garth Knight. Is something growing between them?" I read out loud. Michael looked at me. "Im sorry, it just happened." he just said. I shook my head. When he wanted to take me in his arms, I stepped back. "Dont touch me. I see you prefer superheroes above your mate and girlfriend. Fine. Im done Michael. You can do what you want. But Im not a part of this anymore." I acted. I had to play pissed otherwise he wouldnt believe me. I walked outside and shifted. I stepped away with hanging head and ears. "Joyce please stay!" he yelled pleading. I looked at him and walked further. I have to act realistic otherwise Im busted. It really hurts to do this but I have to keep my cover.
