*Saturday: Friends of Firemen Barbecue*
I was sitting at a table with her friend group. Everyone was laughing and having beer. Herrmann looked over and caught his son hitting another kid with a tree branch.
"Hey! Lee Henry! I'm not going to tell you agian!! Put the stick down before I beat you with it!!" He yelled, watching the boy throw the stick down with a bit of attitude.
"Whoa, whoa!" Everyone cried out.
"What was that?!" Joe exclaimed.
"Take it easy." Jose advised, reaching over and giving Herrmann a slight massage, having been seated behind the older man.
"You gotta be fair but firm." Pruitt smirked.
We shared a look and scoff at the ridiculousness of the statement.
When I was about to sip to my beer, I saw the newbies in uniforms.
"You didn't." I snickered.
"Come on Captain." Buck and Joe giggled.
"Hello, Peter Mills, Ben Warren, Eddie Diaz." I cheered as every else saw them dressed in full uniform.
"Yes! Fabulous!!" Jack and Joe clapped as everyone join in on the action.
"Howdy." They greeted, jokingly, while removing their hat.
"When's the parade, Candidates?" Otis teased.
"Ah, that's a good one. Good one Otis." Ben sighed as the cheers and applause died down.
