*FireHouse 51: Common Room Entrance/Exit*

Y/N found Matt there, looking out of the window at Kelly and contemplating something. I walked up and stood beside him.

"Hey." Matt smiled, looking over and furrowing his brows when he didn't receive a response. "Everything okay?"

"Are you sleeping with Heather Darden?" I questioned, paused finally facing him and crossing my arms. "Are you breaking a friend group code?" I asked

"No." Matt answered and I eyed him, looking for any indication that he was lying to her.

All I found was the warmth he always looked at her with.

"Okay, I believe you." The friend group captain assured, looking back at the window and nodding towards Kelly and Andrew. "They don't though."

"Yeah, well, that's just gonna have to change isn't it?" Matt sighed, walking out and over to the Squad Lieutenant and Andrew.

I followed after him and the two found Kelly and Dallas messing with a saw at the Squad Table.

"Heather Darden and me, we're just friends. She wanted to talk and fell right asleep on my bed." Matt insisted.

"Right. Got it." Kelly replied, sarcastically, picking up the saw and beginning to walk over to his Squad Truck.

"We're you breaking the friend group code." Andrew replied, as he followed Kelly.

"I don't know what you want me to say here." Matt threw his hands up, exasperated by this nonsense.

"We say what we saw, Casey. Sell your clean whistle with someone else, 'cause we ain't buying." they retorted, as Kelly opening up one of the side compartments on the truck and storing the saw inside.

"You guys can't imagine you might be wrong about something, can you?" Matt countered.

"We can imagine a lot of things, just not the idea of you rolling around with Andy's wife." Kelly spat.

"Come on." Matt scoffed.

"Sev-" I tried.

"Don't tell me you believe this crap?! I know you, Y/N. You're not blind or stupid. You should be able to see right through his bull!" Kelly cried, whirling on Matt, who had begun to walk away, and storming up to them.

"Strike 1." Pruitt says

They was too lost in his range to take notice of the friend group captain's tiny flinch and hurt expression.

Ben walked over to me, and anyone who knew that Y/N hate all the shouting at once and don't get on her bad side.

"And you! Explain to me why Heather BARLEY talks to me, but she'll SLEEP with you, even though YOU'RE the guy who put Andy through that window!!" Kelly shouted.

"Guys--" Ben tried.

Ben attempt at trying defuse the situation was crushed by the sounds of glass shattering as a series of bullets came flying through the windows. Ben immediately, grabbed Y/N and put her on the ground.

The trio set their differences aside in favor of covering the friend group captain with their large frames.

"What the Hell is going on here?" Herrmann cried, running out just as the shots stopped.

"You guys okay?" Wallace inquired, worriedly, as he shot up from where he'd been lying on the floor a few feet away.

The trio quickly got off of their friend and held their breaths.

"You good?" Ben asked in a low murmur, looking down at the friend group captain and waiting for her to nod. "Yeah, we're good."

"Strike TWO!!!" I yelled, at my older brothers.

*Firehouse 51: Command Center*

The friend group captain had been roaming around the halls when she suddenly caught sight one of her brothers storming over to where Matt was working on some paper work with Pruitt and Bobby in the Command Center.

"You know what the worst part is?" The Squad Lieutenant huffed, watching as Matt slowly turned to look up at him.

"What's the worst part, Kelly?" He muttered, turning back to his paperwork.

"That you don't have enough sack to admit you're sleeping with Heather." Kelly spat, "At least come clean."

"Keep walking." Matt warned. "I'm done explaining myself."

"Guys, stop." Bobby warned, as he saw me.

"You haven't explained a damn THING! That's the POINT!!" Kelly yelled and Matt shot out of his seat.

"CAUSE YOU'RE WRONG!!!!" He shouted.

Unlike them Pruitt and Bobby caught sight of the Friend group captain flinch and immediately calm themself down.

"Don't come up on me again like this." Matt finished in a much calmer tone.

"Really?" Kelly scoffed.

"STRIKE THREE!!" Pruitt yelled, as they turned towards me.

Wallace and Lucas walked to us, and Wallace spoke up first.

"What the Hell is going on here!?!" Wallace inquired, looking between his nephews and slightly scared brunette.

"Grab the following items: Code books, and badges. In my office, now." Lucas inquired.

Both men walked past them and grabbed the following items. Meanwhile Bobby walked over and place a hand on Y/N's shoulder, snapping her out of whatever memories that might have been dredged up.

"You okay?" He wondered.

"Fine." I swallowed, pushing past her uncle and heading upstairs towards her Lucas's office.

*Lucas' Office*

"We've been here before. Almost tore this house, and Y/N apart." Lucas pointed out, gesturing the brunette, standing beside him.

"This time, it's different." Kelly replied.

"Tell me about it." Lucas instructed.

"Yeah, Casey, tell him about it." The Squad Lieutenant sassed, earning a glare from Y/N, Lucas, Pruitt, Wallace, Benny, Natasha, and Bobby.

Matt glanced between us a few times before deciding on something.

"No offense, Chief." Matt looked at the friend group captain. "Or you, Captain."

I scoffed, "Hand Ripley your friend group stuff. You guys are on Code Maroon."

They proceed and they put their stuff on Chief Lucas' desk.

"You remember the rules, if you break them until you get them back they you add more time to the code." Lucas says

They both walked out of the Office, not saying another word.
