The undead guards that guarded the church held their shield and swords waiting for trespassers. With your binoculars you watched a knight charge in as the undead knights ran for him. As he ran into the church he was swift enough to dodge the Berenike Knight who begun to chase after the knight. Berenike Knights are known for the dark heavy iron armor and immovable Tower Shields.

“Well that saves me the trouble.” Sneaking up the stairs you crept into the church and turned right, noticing the bright gleaming light of a fire keeper's soul floating above a corpse.

“What sins have become of one?” You gently took the fire keeper's soul. This was a shrine made for the firekeeper. Her corpse rested here and guarded by the Berenike Knight to keep away from the undead travelers, knights and wanderers from stealing it. “Another sister, another maiden, taken from her duties. Unless she abandoned her beliefs. No, not of her right. She was taken off our lands.” Looking up at the statue that was above the tomb of the corpse seeing the statue cradling a child in her arm. The focus on the child is the expression of sorrow as of the child's way of fear. Showing the suffering the people of these lands that are the remnants of the great Kingdom of Lordran have endured.

Closing your hands together you did a proper prayer to the shrine of the fallen Firekeeper. Slowly turning back you watched the knight still battling the hollowed knights and the Berenike Knight.

Above the open room was another room. Seeing the silhouette of the Channeler walking around. Never keeping your eyes off the Channeler you snuck around the corner and headed up some stairs.  Beside the stairs were two caged doors that allowed one to step in and trigger a pressure plate. Allowing whoever who goes in to go down to the bottom and exit to the FireLink Shrine. Where most make their stop.

Reason is due to the crow that provides transportation, drops off adventures and travelers there.

Looking up the stairs you met with one of the red eyed knights staring back down at you. “Balder knight. Should be easy.”
Sword ready and target shield steady it breathed deeply as he held the hilt of the sword close to his chest. They hold their swords as an extension of themselves; they commit to protecting the innocent and vanquish evil. Their hollowed faces share of no humanity for they are the undead forced to commit to their duties. Their faces are different from the regular undead knights. Determined lines on their faces show their tent of eliminating their target.

Slowly reaching back you took out your Greataxe. The narrow hall will make it complicated to make any horizontal swings. Leaving you with a vertical swing option will leave you wide open for an attack. If you can lore him down the stairs and into the open. You'll have to be quick for Balder Knights perry with such accuracy they can finish off their opponent. Their guard is tight despite the target shield being so small. Slowly reaching into your bag that hung behind your back feeling for a fire bomb you tossed it at the Balder knight. On impact the clay clashed against his shield and fire engorged his body.

The Balder knight shook and ran down the stairs as you turned around making way to the open area beneath the stairs. As it charged you turned around and jumped up with both hands on the handle of your GreatAxe chopping down the Balder Knight as his body clashed down onto the ground. Removing the axe you looked back seeing the knight from before had failed.

Falling into his knees in defeat from one the Balder Knights who had pierced the Knight in the chest.
The Berenike Knight was coming back. Rushing up the stairs you made it up where a narrow hall appeared to your left.

Cautiously you walked the narrow hall turning to the right seeing the Channeler. As he stood at the end of the narrow hall with his Trident in hand. The Channelers robes are a deep shaded purple color with golden patterns that shimmer in the light. The robes are loose fitting floating like clouds as the Channeler moves effortlessly. Imbued with the power of the Channeler their armor is their own lore of the Channelers ability to harness the power of this world and beyond.

So it is said.

To you they are just a tricky opponent. They can boost your enemies making them harder to kill. As he held the Trident with both hands he started to bounce and kick his feet chanting and dancing as a group of Hollowsed Zombies encircled him targeting you.

The hollowed zombies wear nothing more but rags and wield broken straight swords, bows, and fire torches. These only held broken straight swords, their moves are unpredictable for they can swing the broken sword like mad men.

And so, that is what they are. Mad.

Tossing fire bombs they fell like flies. Rushing forward to the Channeler he held his hands together with his Trident as a blue beam shot out.
Rolling to the side you leaped forward rolling up close to him slicing him with the Greataxe.
He laughed backing away holding his staff as the Trident began to spin he lunged forward.

Rushing forward you were scraped on the side by the Trident feeling the burning pain of the wound you let out a scream of not just pain but of your scream of determination. Landing the Axe down vertically into his body the weight of the Axe slammed his body down.

Your Greataxe was not easy to get. You had to travel the depth in order to obtain this weapon. Surrounded by poison rats you had almost lost your humanity in the depths. The GreatAxe does Critical damage, the weight of it landing its target is an automatic takedown from its weight and even causes the enemy to stagger.

Pulling the Greataxe out of the Channelers back you looked around panting. Slowly walking around the room you looked to your left seeing stairs. Walking forward a Balder Knight charged down striking you. Rolling back you charged forward smashing his plated armor from its chest. Screaming you held onto the Greataxe pulling it out of his chest as he staggered down to the ground. Looting his corpse you found a large titan shard. “Nice! Two more and I'll be able to reinforce my Axe!” You laughed in relief holding the side of your rib bleeding and panting from exuasting your stamina.
