From behind a tree Shiva's bodyguard stayed close watching. Turning away to rest his back against the tree his eyes widen only seeing the silver lining of a curved blade slice his throat. The malicious laughter and the stranger stepped back as their shadow disappeared from the Moon's light.

After you bathed you were back in camp with the hunters. Shiva of the East and many of them had their helmets off and some armor stripped. "Ahh come, come!" He patted the log beside him. "Say, have you seen that sneaky associate of mine?" Sheva asked you.
Your eyes glanced at him and looked away for his charming beauty if not of these lands. His hair is short and dark as the bark of the woods. Close Set eyes with a piercing gaze of blue. Small a bit of facial hair from his lip to his jaw. Skin was that of caramel and beautifully reflected from the fires dance.

"No, I have not." You reached down, getting your flask to drink.
"He is a sneaky one. Must be out somewhere hunting. Here I saved you some, try not to flee during our meals. There won't be any left next hunt. Eat as you can when we succeed if not die and hollow."
You nodded, accepting the small wooden bowl and wooden spoon sipping the broth. "Sheva, I've been with this hunting party for a while. Can you tell me of the lore behind the big gate beneath the hill?"

Sheva moved the liquid drink in his mouth around savoring the taste as he looked at you and looked away as if in wonder to bear out his knowledge. "Of what it is known. It holds a monstrous beast within its doors. A foul wolf known as Sef. The howls are heard time by time. Many have attempted to engage in its borders only to meet their end by our sword. We have no inquiries of what lays beneath the hills." He kept his arms leaned up against his knees looking over his shoulder to you seated beside him. "Little meat as yourself is not to ask of such. Best to never mention it if your intentions are confused for a fool."

"I'm not a fool. I was just wondering what it was and why it was there. The doors are quite tall and large. A crest is needed in order to open it."

Sheva looked at the hunters who were too busy laughing and giggling as he grabbed your arm pulling you up close to him dragging you away roughly. "Hey!" You said in a sting from his grip as he took you away from the crowd pushing you up against a tree. "You are not no wonder without the party. When did you make your visit?"

He asked furiously. "Some nights ago, but I didn't mean any harm."
Sheva looked around. "Listen to me. Never go near it. Never! You are not ready for such things."

You pushed his chest making him step back from you. "I am as I wish. And I will not be cornered or treated as such a bitch!" You turned away as he pulled your wrist. "Where are you going now? Getting away from what is our right?

He asked angrily. "I'm not getting away from the right! There is no right! I'm just getting the fuck away, from you." You said sharply and toned as being an asshole.

Sheva let out a small rough laughter. "I apologize. Please return back with me. I wish for you not to be roaming without our party."
Looking forward your eyes went back to the soil of the ground. Sighing you controlled your anger and pride. "I am sorry as well for adventuring somewhere out of my boundaries." Sheva kept holding your wrist as you turned back to face him. He allowed you to walk before him as he released your wrist. "A bit possessive aren't you?" You said mocking him.

Sheva stopped hearing some rustling around the trees and bushes. His eyes squinted to see through the night. "Come eat with us. We won't speak of this again." He believed it to be his comrade. Sheva walked on catching up to you he gently bumped your shoulder as you laughed pushing him softly.

Someone was watching. Someone was listening.
