A/n: This chapter is a bit short because my older sister and her boyfriend visited for the weekend (First time meeting him, and he was very nice and respectful, while also being hilarious)

So I'm thinking of starting, during these weekly updates, I rec a PJO fic that I have read and liked! There'll be a little section up in the top notes of each chapter (like this) where you can check it out if you want. So, this is my first one. I actually only found it last week, but I have been absolutely binge reading it bc it's just that good:

Like I have a chapter dedicated to the schedule of this fic, I now have a Q&A chapter posted so that if you have any questions about the backstory or what's coming up, you can leave a comment under any chapter and I'll respond there as well as adding it to the Q&A chapter in case anyone else has the same question. I'll still respond and answer your question even if someone else has already asked it, so you don't really have to look at the chapter, but it'll be there just in case.

Just adding on to that, in general, I have realized that a lot of y'all probably haven't read don't look down ('cause you are royalty), which isn't a bad thing, necessary, but it just means I am also going to post another chapter where I explain more about the AU. All of this is kind of messy rn, but keep in mind I'm trying to organize this all while still keeping up with this fic. I'll be able to clean it all up in a bit, so if you want you can just wait to read any explanation chapters until after chapter 10 is posted, that may be best.

Also, none of the explanation chapters are necessary to read this fic, everything can and will be explained within the regular chapters of the fic. ❤️❤️❤️

"Welp, incest is gross, cannibalism is bad, we all know the beginnings of existence in the book now, let's move on," Percy summarized, shuddering when thinking of just how much of his family tree was a circle in the other universe.

He didn't even live in Alabama. Nor have any family from there.

"Okay," Poseidon said, putting the piece of paper down on the side table next to him and picking back up the book. Would a paper just fall from the ceiling every time they had to take a myth break? "I'll read the next chapter now that we've finished the myth break."

While Poseidon didn't want to say Zeus was right, he could say that Zeus had a point when he asked how many myth breaks they would have to take. Would it be one after every chapter? They would just have to see.

Poseidon was about to read and had to double-take, concerned once he re-read the chapter title. Maybe this chapter wasn't about his son? There were always those books where the narrator switches per chapter. But alas, Poseidon knew that likely was not the case. This chapter was about as weird as the first one, but that one ended up turning out true in the end.

Hopefully, this one wouldn't. Death wasn't just something to be taken lightly, and Poseidon just hoped that death wouldn't be a theme in all the chapters.

Everyone finished settling in their seats, staying where they were. No one was bringing up Iapetus or anything else they just might have learned about King Kronos' family. They kept silent, and Poseidon cleared his throat to start.
