information: jess's mother, mrs x, has hired a nanny to look after her. jess is one years old. her mother, mrs x, and her father, mr x, never spends any time with her, that's why they hired annie. to do their jobs for them.

they don't ever spend time with jess or even acknowledge her most of the time. it's like she's there but she isn't.

"we've got to get ready, we're going for a meal out tonight. don't call us, please." mr x says.

mr x and mrs x leaves the living room, not even looking in jess' direction.

annie crouches down infront of jess. "hello, sweetheart. i'm annie, your nanny. can you tell me how old you are?"

jess holds up one finger. "wow! you're so little, and you're so cute!" annie exclaims and jess giggles.

"what do you want to do, sweetheart?" annie asks.

jess shrugs. "i have an idea." annie mentions.

"okay," jess responds.

annie holds out her hand for jess to take, which she does. "can you show me where your bedroom is?" annie asks. jess nods.

jess begins leading the way to her bedroom. inside the bedroom, annie looks down at jess with a warm smile before lifting her up and sitting her on the bed. annie crouches down infront of jess.

"we're going to dress you up as a pretty princess. how does that sound, sweetheart?" annie asks.

"really?" jess asks in disbelief.

"of course, sweetheart." annie reassures.

annie looks around the bedroom for something to put the princess dress from, while jess sits on the bed excited, looking up at annie with big eyes.

"are princesses supposed to wear tiara?" jess asks curiously as annie searches through a box.

annie looks up to find a tiara, and turns back to jess. "yes. princesses always wear tiara. they're very pretty." annie replies. she approaches jess and carefully places the tiara on her head.

"there we go. does that feel comfortable?" annie asks.

"yes," jess responds. she looks up at annie and smiles.

"you look very pretty, sweetheart." annie compliments. jess's cheeks turn a rosy colour and she blushes shyly.

"thank you," she replies quietly.

annie smiles wider and begins searching through the box again. she locates the princess dress, it was beautiful.

"how about i put this on you, okay sweetheart?" annie suggests.

jess nods her head in response, excitement in her eyes. annie carefully pulls the dress over her head, making sure not to mess up her hair.

once the dress is on, jess stands up and looks down at herself. "i look beautiful," she states with a smile.

annie grins, admiring the way the dress looks on her. "you do, you look so pretty."

jess spins around, admiring the way the skirt of the dress flows as she spins.

mr x and mrs x walks in jess' room and when they see jess they immediately burst out laughing.

"you look ridiculous." mrs x comments.
