One quiet morning, Bernadette sat by the window, looking out with a distant expression. She turned to Dr. Alexander as he entered the room.

Bernadette: "I... I want to visit my parents' grave. I need to talk to them... to feel close to them again."

Dr. Alexander nodded, sensing the heaviness in her voice. "Of course, Bern. I'll accompany you. Let me arrange everything."

Later that day, they arrived at the cemetery. The air was still, and the only sounds were the distant chirping of birds and the soft rustling of leaves. Bernadette walked slowly towards her parents' tombstones, her footsteps light on the gravel path. Dr. Alexander stayed a few steps behind, giving her space but remaining close enough to offer support.

As she reached the graves, took out a bouquet of fresh flowers. She placed them carefully on her parents' graves, her hands trembling slightly as she arranged them neatly. Then, she pulled out two white candles and a lighter. With a deep breath, she lit the candles, their small flames flickering in the cool breeze. Bernadette knelt down, tracing her fingers over the names etched into the cool stone. Her eyes filled with tears, and she spoke softly, her voice trembling.

Bernadette: whispering in prayer "Mom, Dad... please hear me. I need your guidance. I'm so lost and tired, and I don't know how much more I can take. Please, give me the strength to keep going, to find peace amidst all this chaos. Help me see a way through this darkness. I need your light... I need your love."

Her voice broke, and a fresh wave of tears streamed down her face. She took a shuddering breath, trying to steady herself as she continued.

Her voice broke, and she began to sob, her shoulders shaking with the weight of her emotions. Dr. Alexander, watching her from a short distance, felt a deep ache in his chest. He stepped forward and gently placed a hand on her shoulder.

Dr. Alexander: "Bernadette..."

She looked up at him, tears streaming down her face, her expression one of anguish and vulnerability.

Without a word, Dr. Alexander pulled her into a comforting embrace, holding her tightly. She leaned into him, letting out her grief, her sobs muffled against his shoulder. He held her close, his presence a silent promise that she wasn't alone, that he would be there for her no matter what.

Dr. Alexander: "I'm here for you, Bern. Always. You don't have to go through this alone."

Bernadette nodded against his chest, her tears slowly subsiding. The warmth of his embrace and the sincerity in his voice offered her a small measure of comfort in her darkest moment. She knew the road ahead was still uncertain and filled with challenges, but with Dr. Alexander by her side, she felt a little less afraid.

Bernadette: sniffling softly "I don't know what I'd do without you, Dr. Alexander. You've been my rock through all of this."

Dr. Alexander: gently "You're stronger than you think, Bernadette. I'm just here to remind you of that strength. And I'm not going anywhere, I promise."

Bernadette pulled back slightly, looking up at him with a mixture of gratitude and lingering sadness.

Bernadette: "Sometimes, I feel like I'm losing myself in all this... the accusations, the media, the loneliness. It's like I'm trapped in a nightmare I can't wake up from."

Dr. Alexander: softly, holding her gaze "I know it feels overwhelming right now, but you're not alone. We'll face this together, one day at a time. And remember, it's okay to lean on others. It's okay to take a break and just breathe."
