Jungkook yawned as he waited for the elevator. He had another restless night and felt exhausted as if he didn't have a goodnight sleep in years.
"Hey," Yoongi greeted him and stood next to the younger. "How are you today?"
"Good morning. I'm okay," Jungkook shrugged.
"You sure? You seemed a bit off yesterday. Bet the fact that you had to stay late again didn't help either," Yoongi commented, looking at him.
Jungkook just groaned and walked into the elevator.
He didn't want to think about last night. He didn't want to think about any of the previous nights. He had acted like a fool. He had no excuse for his behaviour. The first time it was an honest mistake but the second he knew what he was doing and he went and did it anyway, only to regret it minutes later.
Him and Yoongi walked towards their cubicles and saw Hoseok standing there waiting for them. "Good morning!" he greeted them in his usual cheerful way.
"What's up?" Yoongi said, nodding at the other man.
"Hey man, I wanted to ask you if you are going to the "Love Maze" for their event tonight," Hoseok asked Yoongi.
"Yeah I will, are you going too?" Yoongi sat on his chair, looking at Hoseok who was standing next to him.
"Yeap. You want to go together?"
"Sounds good. I have extra invites if you want for your friends," Yoongi said, twirling a pen between his fingers.
"I had invites too and gave them already. Jimin will probably come as well," Hoseok nodded toward Jimin's cubicle.
"Cool," Yoongi replied apathetically.
"Jungkook are you coming as well?" Hoseok asked, looking at the younger.
"Nah, I'm not in the mood to party," Jungkook mumbled, typing on his laptop.
"Maybe it's better that you don't. The boss might come as well and I know you are not his biggest fan," Hoseok chuckled.
Jungkook turned and looked at the elder, weighing at the situation. "It's him that has a problem with me," he said dryly.
"Don't take everything personally, man. It's just that he is too professional."
"If you say so," Jungkook muttered and turned back to his laptop. Jimin had said the same. Apparently, he was so professional only with Jungkook. Apparently, he could leave everybody else alone. Apparently, hugging strangers in the company entrance for everybody to see, is extremely professional too.
"Anyway, I'm off. See you later Yoongi," Hoseok smiled at both of them and walked away.
"You are coming," Yoongi said.
"No. Get Namjoon and Jin with you." The idea of going anywhere Taehyung might be was the worst idea possible. He didn't want to blurt out something stupid again or do anything that would mess with his head. He was blaming himself enough as it was.
"They can't make it. You are coming," Yoongi's tone was final.
"Why do you even want me there when I say I don't want to go?"
"Didn't you hear what Hoseok said?" Yoongi looked around and leaned closer to Jungkook. "Jimin might be there."
"So?"
"So, I need the support."
"Tsk, hyung you are going there for work!"
"You are coming," Yoongi pulled away as if the conversation was over.
