Jungkook hurried out of the shower when the doorbell rang, wrapping a towel around his waist and running to open the door.
"Hey, give me a minute," he said to Taehyung who stood there, lips slightly parted as he took in the younger.
Taehyung gulped. "Sure," he replied, his voice low.
Jungkook run back to the bathroom and Taehyung took off his jacket and sat on the couch.
"Sorry about that," Jungkook commented coming back, wearing grey sweatpants and a baggy white t shirt, his hair still wet.
"Was that payback?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow, looking at the younger who smiled widely.
"Not really. You just arrived earlier than I thought," he sat next to Taehyung, going for a kiss but the elder stopped him.
"There are cameras in the company. You have to remember that."
Jungkook pulled back, looking at Taehyung amused. "Should I remind you who attacked who in the emergency staircase?"
"Should I remind you who attacked who in the common room?"
They stared at each other and burst out laughing.
"Okay, I guess we are even," Jungkook said, laying his head on the back of the couch, his body facing Taehyung.
"It's true but if this continues we need to be more careful," Taehyung mimicked the younger's move, laying on the couch as well.
"So..will this continue?" Jungkook fumbled with his fingers, looking at the elder with puppy eyes. "I mean..Do you want to..?"
Taehyung sighed and closed his eyes for a bit. Did he want to? Should he continue this? "Look Jungkook.."
The younger moved closer, going for a kiss.
"No.." Taehyung said, making Jungkook stop.
"No..?" Jungkook felt a pang in his chest and a sudden cold wave run in the back of his head.
"I mean no, you don't get to kiss me and get out of me the answer you want," Taehyung studied the younger's face that looked frozen. "You did it last night too. You need to let me speak.."
"Oh..Okay.." Jungkook's face fell apart and a small pout formed on his lips.
Taehyung held his breath. He didn't like seeing the younger like that but he needed to say what he wanted.
"To answer your question..Yes..I want this to continue but.. you have to understand my place.. A lot is at risk here and if we move forward, you have to keep that in mind.."
"I will Tae, I promise, I'll behave!" Jungkook said eagerly with wide eyes, making Taehyung melt inside.
"Thank you.." Taehyung muttered and moved closer, placing a kiss on Jungkook's lips while smiling.
Jungkook hugged him tightly and Taehyung reciprocated, holding the younger as close to his body as he could, breathing in the musky smell of his body wash. "You smell nice," he sighed.
"So do you," Jungkook snuggled on the elder's neck, making him laugh. "So what happened with Jimin?"
"I know Jimin my whole life, Jungkook. He knows me better than anybody else. He knows when I'm telling the truth or when I'm hiding something. And now, I'm hiding something from him and he realised. He fished it out of me."
"Without kissing you? Wow, he has to teach me.." Jungkook said humorously.
Taehyung smiled. "It's not funny. I feel guilty not sharing my happiness with him you know.."
