The venue of the event was a club. The people on the dance floor were mostly students, which could explain why the place was packed in the middle of the week.
Thankfully, as most of the times, they had an area booked only for the people of the Magazine.
Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Mingyu and Jungkook were sitting on the big orange corner couch of the VIP area. They already had a couple of drinks and the conversation was flowing. Mingyu had instantly clicked with the others and Jungkook was happy that his friend felt like part of the group.
Even though the music was great, the drinks were good and his friends were with him, Jungkook's eyes kept travelling to the door of the VIP room, waiting for it to open and for Taehyung to walk in. He strategically let everybody sit down first so he can sit in the corner, saving a place for Taehyung next to him.
"Your boy is late," Jin laughed and Jungkook jumped, looking at him with wide eyes.
"Why are you looking at me? I was talking to Yoongi," Jin looked at Jungkook, waiting for an answer.
"He texted me, he is on his way," Yoongi smiled at them before Jungkook needs to answer.
"You are so into him, it's ridiculous. I never thought I would see you like that." Namjoon nudged Yoongi with his elbow while laughing.
Yoongi didn't reply but he looked away and smiled fondly, making everybody look towards the door. Jimin walked towards them with a big smile, his eyes only on Yoongi. "Hello! This place is great!" Jimin shouted over the music.
Yoongi kept looking at Jimin with a smile, making the others around them look at each other, trying to hide their own smiles. It was extraordinary seeing the always serious Yoongi look like a fool in love. He was practically melting in front of them and them not commenting was the hardest thing they had to do that day.
Jungkook enjoyed the scene but his smile faded when he realised Jimin was alone. Wasn't Taehyung coming? If not, where was he? "Hey, did you come alone?"
Jimin finally looked away from Yoongi and his eyes landed on Jungkook. He took in the younger and his smile changed. "Wasn't I supposed to?"
Jungkook got flustered. "You are always with Hoseok, so.. I don't know.. I thought he would be here too.."
"No, Hoseok didn't come," Jimin kept smiling at Jungkook, making the younger feel uncomfortable. Did Jimin know?
"Director! Hello!" Mingyu stood up, shaking Taehyung's hand.
"Hello," Taehyung looked at everybody with a small smile and when his eyes travelled to Jungkook, his smile got a bit bigger.
"Have a seat," Jin gestured next to Jungkook who sat up straight.
Taehyung walked towards him and sat down brushing his hand against Jungkook's. Feeling Taehyung so close to him, the younger's heartbeat instantly started racing.
Taehyung looked so beautiful once again, reminding Jungkook why he fell for him in the first place. The black jeans, the black t shirt and the black leather jacket he wore, gave him a rock vibe that made Jungkook's heart swoon at the sight. His flowy hair made him look approachable and Jungkook sighed to himself as he took him in from head to toe. The 'outside work' Taehyung just hit different.
He wanted to see the elder alone, kiss him, touch him but all the people around them made that difficult, if not impossible.
So Jungkook like the little devil he was, leaned forward, crossing his hands, each hand on the side of the opposite knee, and he slightly brushed Taehyung's thigh with his right hand that was hidden from view.
