The next day, Jinx decided to put on the big ass coat and go into town. She needed proper clothes or else she was gonna freeze. She shimmer already made her skin pale enough, the cold was making it worse. Sevika was still snoring as she left the house.
"Just a couple of outfits," Jinx said to herself as she shivered. She crossed her arms, hoping that would produce more body heat. It was no use...
Once she reached town, she searched for stores that had clothes more befitting than what the others were wearing. It looked like the darkest color she was gonna find was a dark blue. What was it with these big cities and the color blue? "Good to see you here looking for warmer clothes," a voice said from behind her. She turned around to face the same blonde girl she saw yesterday.
"I didn't come well prepared," Jinx said with an awkward smile, "It's not winter where I came from."
"Where do you come from?"
"Um... Piltover. Nice... fall weather they have."
"You don't look like you're from Piltover."
"I am, I just don't always wear the same clothes as everyone else."
"Piltover is brutal. I bet you stick out like a sore thumb," the blonde said with a giggle, "I'm Lux by the way. I typically help tourists who need it."
"So...I'm a tourist...?" Jinx asked.
"Technically, yes. Just come find me if you need anything...?"
"Oh! Jinx."
"Jinx. Wow, interesting name. You feeling okay after yesterday? My brother is a little... slow."
"I'm perfectly fine. I've felt worse pain."
The Demacian began to look at her strange, "Your eyes," she said with a smile, "They're so unique."
"They are...?" Half of Jinx felt a little special after that compliment, but the other half felt like it wanted to throw up because of how sweet Lux was.
"Very. I'll leave you to it."
As Lux walked off, Jinx felt something in her pocket. She pulled out a few coins then looked up to see Lux was gone. Did this girl really just give her money?
~~~~~~~~
"You got new clothes," Sevika said, taking a sip of her whiskey as Jinx closed the front door.
"You're bigger, you produce more body heat," Jinx began, "I'm small, so I freeze like an old person. I also got a little money left."
"Where the hell did you get money?"
"Someone gave it to me. I didn't steal it."
"Sure. Someone was nice enough to give you money."
"She was. The blonde that bumped into me yesterday. She helps tourists that come around here."
Sevika laughed a little, "Sounds horrible."
"Yeah, but it suits her. Anyway, where's that arm of yours, toots?"
"It's been gone all this time and you're just now seeing it? It was that ruthless sister of yours... why do you care anyway?"
"I was just curious. Also, I needed a reason to bully you. I'm glad Vi went for the arm this time."
"Shut the hell up for once. I thought you hated her anyway."
"I don't hate her... I just hate the things she does. And how she handles her anger."
"She needs to handle it on something else, my damn collar bone hurts."
