Respected Sergeant Barnes,

I am shocked you kept such an accomplishment a secret from me for so long. Nevertheless, words cannot express the pride blooming from my chest as I read your recount of military life. I do wish you could detail it more precisely, but I understand that now is a time of caution in a world of espionage.

I suppose I can wait until your glorious return.

To read that you miss me equally as much as I, you, means the world. Often of late, I have found myself reminiscing about our life before this war began... please tell me I am not alone in that.

Most Kindly Yours,
Steven
