I find myself indifferent to the thoughts of the men proof-reading our letters. In fact, I have sent a picture of us with this letter so you might have a piece of us so long as we are apart. Let us see what they think of that!

Feigning misunderstanding is quite the thing to admit, James. What exactly do you mean to imply with such a bold statement?

Goodness, I can hardly wait to read what sort of answer you shall craft for that question. It would serve us well, mind you, if you were more direct than roundabout, my friend.
