CHAPTER 28 (Tribesmen & Creature)

The hard and harsh crisps and crackles of that fiery puddle in the midst of that forest, where Crea and Gi are, still can be heard in the background, as it gave a frightening ambiance...

"Eeeeeiiiii!!! Gi! Gi! Giii! Eeeeeiiii"...

Creature's cries echoed throughout that fiery place. It's as if you could feel the burning sensation it is enduring.

That blazing pit Crea has fallen into looks like a puddle, for it was just as small as a puddle, but it was as deep as the Mayon Volcano's lava holes. Crea did not fell all the way deep inside, but was just stuck at the midpoint, in one of its wall's creases.

Though Creature have not touched that very hot lava, but the heat waves are still excruciating when you are so close to it. Ever try pointing your finger near a candle fire? Though, you are not really touching it, and though it was just a little candle fire, you will still feel the heat burns into your skin, that gets hotter and hotter as time goes by and bids goodbye. Now, Crea isn't even near to a candle fire, it was being stuck near a puddle of lava!

Girl was horrified when she saw her little roundly friend fell in one of those puddles of lava! And unable to do something, she shouted, "HELP! HELP! SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!"

Then suddenly, nine tribal-clothed women, the Tribesmen, appeared in their midst and surrounded them...

One Tribesman came dashing and jumped in to that puddle of lava, to where Crea is, then somersaulted deep inside. She landed on that 999 degree Celsius of molten lava which is up to 100,000 times as viscous as water.

She just stood up mightily on top of that blazing molten brimstones! That Tribesman just walked on the lava, without feeling its heat and without getting incinerated by it, that even its wooden like-shoe doesn't even burn into crisp.

Then she reached out for Crea, carry it with her, and jumped out of that puddle of fire, into safe land...

"Crea!!!" Girl did not even have the time to be shocked or in awe with that impossible feat, for she ran towards Crea as soon as she saw it on the safe ground, now unconscious, beside that Tribesman.

But, she was unable to reach or even hug Crea, for two Tribesmen took her hands on both side.

"Wha-what are you doing? P-Please let go of me," afraid Girl said. But the two Tribesmen just ignored her.

"Let's bring them to the Chief," a big fat Tribesman ordered. Then, all of them walked in line, in to a path behind those trees, which surrounded that place.

That one Tribesman carried the unconscious Creature in her arms, while Girl was dragged in both hands by two Tribesmen.

After passing through that rows of tree trunks, there it is... in the far East of The Map... the Tribe...

Though it's already noon, but the place is seem so dark and reddish in color, because of the Two Massive Volcanoes in between the Tribe that emanates smokes which then made the place went dark and hazy. And both of its smokes are like two dancing maidens hovering around the whole place.

If Bicol's Mayon Volcano is renowned as the "perfect cone" because it is the archetype of an almost symmetrical stratovolcano, in comparison, the Tribe's Two Massive Volcanoes are the most asymmetrical cinder cone volcano. And like the Mayon Volcano, the Two Massive Volcanoes are the most active ones in this world. It has frequent eruptions producing pyroclastic flows, mud flows, and ash falls that repeatedly triggered large-scale evacuations for all its surrounding places.

But it is a mystery that their lava does not flow between them, so it never reaches the Tribe for many centuries. Thus, the Tribe was the only remaining community left near the Two Massive Volcanoes.
