CHAPTER 33 (Fire & Saviour)

She was running for her life, no gentle smiles can be seen. Her peculiar earing's stone-like pellet pendant gleamed its ocean blue tint amidst that flaming dim red setting. The dawn is here.

A chase of havoc, 'twas such a dreadful scene! A heart-stopping, jaw opening, breath taking, eye popping outrageous series of action stunts and chaos!... Fire's claws comes dashing to She.

Such a terrifying sight it is, chasing her from behind. Though She was faster and swifter even, but her beautiful clothes were burned from here and there, with no more sight of rhythm in following her long braided hair. Even if her slender fair-skinned body is damp with water, it gave no help. The young warrior-like teenage lady swiftly passed from Sanctuary to Sanctuary, jumping from fallen debris to another, crossing from streets to streets, using her Hunter's Tricycle and tried attacking with her bow and arrow. But still, the obese-like trespasser caught her off-guard, making her stumble in to the ground, unconscious.

The wrecker was about to dose its final blow unto She, but thankfully, I was able to see the incoming with her Eagle's Eye and I quickly aided for her bestfriend. I swing her left hand that has her Fibre Sling and countered continuously Fire's almost-final blow. She was able to carry She and escape the scene.

It was a total shock from everyone. Fire unexpectedly came with a thud even if they were not yet finished with the reconstruction of the Village for The Plan. It suddenly appeared with a lightning that shook the ground and split the clouds.

And with just a moment pass, in no direction will we not hear the cries and shrieks of every young and old. They're yet again in the midst of that dark times. Of that flame's wrath amidst the dark crimson clouds created by those gloomy smokes.

We can hear again those crisps and flickers we had heard before. That same sound of frying dried fish, but with no satisfaction of appetite.

We can now see again those red eyes looking at us, as if it's ready to devour us; the giant trespasser with its crippled left wing; a split image of a dragon making havoc to the village; Fire all over again.

And these all happened the dawn before He, Her, Taler, Mister, and Miss Puddle went to the Market Port.

"Fear not, my people! Take up your courage, for that will be our greatest defense!" shouts the old Chief Overseer, "Remember your family, your children, and your home! Do it for them! Charge!"...

Every Hunters, every Overseers, every Builders, every Foragers, and even all the Collectors gained the courage and work in unison to execute The Plan. The plan to finally capture and eventually extinguish the Fire.

There's only one more Contraption that needs to be in its place for The Plan to work. But Fire's sudden advent delayed the construction.

Father then used his Hunter's Wall to move the Contraption. It was no easy task, even with the Hunter's Wall and with the aid of the other Builders, that contraption was sure heavy. But, with a dose of adrenaline, they managed to finish it.

"All the vital Contraptions are ready!" Father then informed the Chief, "So, we can now proceed with the Plan!"

"Hold that," the Chief Overseer then commanded as a sync came in to her mind.

"A very bad news, Chief," I synched with the chief using My's Tongues Ability, "See, She is still unconscious, I can't use my Eagle's Eye because of the thick smokes, and most importantly, three of the Contraptions in the West side was incinerated. We cannot proceed with the Plan like this."

Everyone around the Chief heard it, because the Chief has this ability to voice out what is in her mind, like a speaker of a radio. Using this ability, she need not to open her mouth to be heard. For, little did we know, actually the Chief is mute from birth. But, with the Voice Ability, she can voice out her mind.
