Chapter 2

Earn greets her mom in the living room. It's been a while since she was here. The last time being almost a year ago, after her mom's surgery.

"Your dad is waiting in the study. Try to stay calm na Earn." Khun Ying Jintana signalled her.

Without wasting a second she knocks on the door and enters the study. Her dad had a straight face, something that both her and her brother had not inherited.

"There must be something you want to update me on. It's unusual of you to want to visit me." The General spoke.

She does not say a word and hands the envelope that she had opened earlier.

He scans the piece of paper inside and looks at Earn before putting it back on his desk. "So you had not been updating me about anything and went ahead and got married already? I thought I was clear when I said you must show me that it's true love before doing anything else."

"You see. I don't even remember how I became married to P'Mor. I promise you, if I did, I would've told you."

"Does your mom know?"

"Nope."

"Great. She doesn't need to hear about this just yet. She already feels bad for allowing me to make that decision. What are your plans?"

"That... I wanted to ask you if I have your full support to try to win over P'Mor again. I can prove to you that I love her. I'm older now and I can guarantee that she is not marrying Dr. Visanu like we thought."

"How are you going to do that. You broke her heart and even made it seemed like you betrayed her."

"That's why I want you to know. I don't know how, but I'll figure it out. You just have to catch me if I ever fall. Your little girl can't do it without your help."

"Okay. When do you start?"

"In two days! I was offered to do an advertisement for the hospital. I'll try to find time to tell her then about the certificate."
