Chapter 10

Earn never would have thought that there would be a time where she would see Khun Ying Rasamee again. But here she was at St. King Hospital. She received a call from her father last night saying that Fahlada's mother had contacted him. Although her father wanted to help, she was adamant about this situation being her own problem. Now he wonders if he had pushed his daughter too hard to become independent.

"Khun Earn Sanithada. Khun Ying Rasamee is ready to meet you." The secretary said.

Earn was nervous, but she was ready to do anything for her love.

"It was you, wasn't it? I made a deal with your father so that you would not come near to my daughter. And now your father no longer cares about the deal and allowed you to crawl back to my daughter!" Khun Ying Rasamee was shouting.

"It doesn't have to be like this. I love her so much. I already broke up with her as requested by my father and you. I have the right to prove to you that our love is true." Earn calmly spoke.

"True love? How can a woman love another woman? It's shameful. Lada is set to be the next director of the Hospital, but you have to get in the way of it. And here I thought your father the General would at least have some sense. But no. He is enabling you to drag my daughter down."

"He is not enabling anything. Do you not want to think of P'Mor's feelings? Our love is just like any other love. We can build a family together just like others."

"A family? Do you think it's right for you to have a family with my daughter? Remember that you made a choice back then. You chose to abandon my daughter, so that you can save your mother."

"That was because you gave me no choice! You told me that P'Mor was seeing Dr. Visanu while she was seeing me. I knew it was a lie, but being heated in that moment, I couldn't think straight. If I knew that you made it up, I would have begged my dad to bring my mom to another facility."

"Er! If you can choose your own mother, what makes you think Lada can't do the same? She may be in love with you right now. But as her mother, I have the right to choose who she will marry!" Khun Ying Rasamee screamed before making Earn leave her office.

Earn was unsure of what to do next. She did make the choice back then. No one made her choose, it was her pure anger towards the idea of being played by her lover that fuelled it. Khun Ying Rasamee and her dad were just there to lay out their thoughts.

Fahlada walks in the apartment, rushing to collect her things as Earn was trying to make sense of what was happening.

"P'Mor. Where are you going?" Earn asked.

"No where that you need to know of. Move." Fahlada pushes Earn away.

"But I said I would be here for all of your problems. Just let me know how I could help." Earn was on the verge of crying.

"Huh! You're really an actress. You made me believe that you loved me. Now you're running back to men just like last time. You know how much I was hurt getting played by you. How could you do it again?" Fahlada was clearly hurt by whatever was happening. Even Earn was surprised.

"Rising actress seen snuggling up with multiple men." That was the headline that topped every tabloid two days after the announcement of Fahlada and Visanu's engagement.

Earn knew exactly who was able to do that. Her mind was perplexed by the lengths that Khun Ying Rasamee was taking to break her and Fahlada apart. She knew how this was going to be as she had done the same thing to breakup from the Doctor once. Even she experienced the heartbreak and loss of trust hearing that her lover was in love with a man. Fahlada had already let her know how much trust she lost in her when it first happened. This time, it won't be just trust, but every chance to be with the Doctor would be gone.

"Khun Ying Rasamee has gone too far. I know she helped me with the surgery, but how is she not thinking of her own child?" Earn's mom spoke with displeasure. She had just heard from her daughter that they rekindled their love, which relieved her as she was the factor of their breakup.

"The damage has already been done. P'Mor will not listen to my explanation." Earn looked down at her scarf that was gifted by the Doctor.

"I told you to be strong, didn't I? Who told you that you could back down just like that? You promised me that you would prove your love with each other to be true." The General patted his daughter's head.

The General was always stern, but everything he has done was so that his children would be able to make good choices. Choices that they were not going to regret.

"Your father is right. And why are you not fighting when the evidence of your innocence is right in front of you?" Khun Ying Jintana points at one of the pictures.

"Is that Hea?" Earn looked confused.

"My dear sister. Don't you recognise the back of your older brother? That time, you were so excited to see me again that you hugged me when there were cameras." Ae, Earn's brother spoke.

"And this? That's from the MV that you did last week. If none of these are true, why are you still here doing nothing?" Her mom added.
