Chapter 15

Fahlada finds herself in front of Earn's apartment in the middle of the night after contemplating on where to stay. She rung the bell and Earn opens the door with her eyes saddened.

"Earn..." Fahlada softly cried.

There was no reply from the younger girl.

"Earn... P' is sorry. I'm sorry for what my mom has done to you." Fahlada was on the verge of tears.

"P' Mor." Earn finally cried as she figured out why the Doctor was here.

"Why did you not tell me about it and suffered alone?"

"I wanted to. But my dad... I couldn't refuse him. He said if I wanted to prove to him that our love was strong, I would breakup with you and we will be back together in the end. And I couldn't help it when I thought that you were with Dr. Visanu while we were dating."

"Oh Earn. Where did you hear that? My mom told you that lie, didn't she?"

Earn pulls Fahlada in a hug and tried to keep herself calm. Fahlada bursts into tears as she continues to say sorry to her wife. From there they spent the night together in each other's embrace as they tried to forget about the obstacles that they had gone through just to love each other.

Fahlada wakes up to an empty bed, only to find her wife steaming clothes in the corner of the room.

"P'Mor. Get up and eat breakfast. I am preparing your clothes for work today." Earn softly spoke.

Fahlada stands up and hugs the Actress. "I'm not going to work."

"Why? How about all of your patients?"

"I've stopped working there. All of my patients have been transferred to Bow. If my parents don't want to support me, then I will not support their plans." Fahlada says with no worry.

Earn smacks her wife's arm. "Who told you to make that decision. Now wouldn't they think that it's because of me that you're not going to be the Director?"

"So what? My mom said that I should not tarnish the Thananusak family, so I am not going to do that by leaving them."

"P'Mor, could you not be so rash? This is a big decision. Family is important and we must care for them." Earn lightly scolded Fahlada.

"But you're my family too. And no worries, I have enough in my savings for us and our children to live comfortably until we die."

Earn steps out of the apartment to meet up with Dr. Phuthares and tell him that his daughter was with her.

"Earn. I'm so sorry for what my wife has done."

"It's ok. She's just trying to protect P'Mor. I can handle that." Earn gives Dr. Phuthares an assuring smile.

"One day she will understand your love. I will try my best to help you guys on this." Dr. Phuthares was sure his wife would come around. She was just old fashioned.

"Earn would like to say goodbye to you. Don't worry about P'Mor, I am looking after her." Earn excuses herself and walks out of Dr. Phuthares' office.

As she walks along the corridor, she makes eye contact with Khun Ying Rasamee. Fahlada's mother gave no expression, but Earn tried her best to give her small warm smile. She then bumps into the Doctor's friends.

"N'Earn. How's Lada? She must feel sad to find out that her mother did what she did to you guys." Tan asked.

"She's doing better, but I don't want her to keep making rash decisions." Earn responded.

"I get you, but she just needs some time to clear her mind. You know the Hospital is at fault. If she hadn't need to be the next director, she would have been able to be more in control of her life." Prem reasoned.

"Yeah. Fahlada hasn't taken a break. She needs this one before she decides to suddenly break news of your marriage." Bow says, not forgetting to add a joke.
