Earn was still in distress. Her parents and brother tried to help her, but she would smile and say that she is okay. It was difficult for the General to see his daughter pretend to be happy. He decided that he would go meet Khun Ying Rasamee at the hospital. Khun Ying Jintana heard this and decided to follow her husband.

"Khun Ying Rasamee. General Khemarat and Mom Rajwongse Jintana are here to meet you." The secretary announced to Khun Ying Rasamee and Dr. Phuthares.

Khun Ying Rasamee was surprised, but at the same time expected for the General to meet her soon.

"Khun Ying Rasamee. Dr. Phuthares." The General gave his greetings.

"General Khemarat. Khun Ying Jintana. What matter do you have for us to be graced with your presence?" Dr. Phuthares greeted back.

"I have a few words with your wife, if you don't mind. It's about our children."

"I have nothing to say about that matter. Your daughter has betrayed our deal. She has done wrong by loving my daughter." Khun Ying Rasamee says.

"Our deal had changed. You knew of the circumstances when we made it. They broke up just like we wanted. For them to fall in love again meant nothing to our deal. Didn't you agree with me back then? You said if they can prove to us that they love each other after they had broken up, we would not stand in their way." The General held his head up, showing Khun Ying Rasamee that he will not back down.

"That was the only way to make your daughter agree. How could you even think to actually allow them to love each other again?" Khun Ying Rasamee was still stubborn.

"Well I choose to give my daughter her happiness just like how she chose to prove her love to me. If you don't want to care about your daughter, then there is nothing I can do about it." The General spoke before he left with his wife.

Just as he left, Fahlada's siblings walked in wanting to talk about Fahlada to their parents.

Fahlada had documents to bring to her mother.

"Do you want me to let Lada marry that girl? For goodness sake, none of you want to become the director. Now you want me to give up on my only hope?"

Fahlada stops at the door, confused by what she was hearing.

"I thought I made it clear to that girl that they could not be together. Yet, she comes back to my child and made her fall in love with her again?" Khun Ying Rasamee continued.

Fahlada wanted to hear no more. She now understood why Earn had broken up with her back then. But more importantly, she felt disappointed to hear that her mother was in fact the cause of her unhappiness the past year.
