Chapter 18

The sun shines through the windows onto the soft skin of the bodies that were intertwined. Both had their eyes closed, but their lips curved in a smile.

"Good morning Jao Kwam Rak (my love)." Fahlada opened her eyes, staring at the younger one with so much love.

"Good morning Jao Hua Jai (my heart)." Earn replied, snuggling deeper into the Doctor's chest.

Earn and Fahlada hears the sound of their phones ringing. They break from each other's embrace and picked up their phones.

"How do you know?" They both said at the same time.

It seems like both sets of parents had found out about their marriage. More specifically, the General had told his wife and his supposed in-laws in hopes to fasten the pace. The girls were glad, but at the same time they wanted to be the ones who broke the news. Now, they were called in to go to the Phongphiphat household. The General thought that this was the safest place as Khun Ying Rasamee would not be able to do anything to his daughter and daughter-in-law.

"Call me old for not being to keep my mouth shut, but yes, I told them." The General spoke in a joking matter for the first time.

"Dad..." Earn softly eyed her father to be aware of her parents-in-law.

"What? If I did not say anything, you would continue to keep it a secret." The General scolded his daughter and daughter-in-law.

"Actually, General. I was going to reveal it, but I wanted to talk with Earn first." Fahlada defended them as Khun Ying Rasamee looked at her with an unreadable expression.

"You can stop calling me General. Dad is fine."

"Honey. Stop scaring her. Anyways, you can also call me Mom." Khun Ying Jintana chuckled.

"Yes, Mom and Dad. If you don't mind, I have to make a call." Fahlada laughed.

"Who are you calling?" Earn asked.

"Petra. Just need to give her a signal." Fahlada winked.

Fahlada's parents were still very quiet. Both were still trying to process the fact that their daughter was already married to her daughter. Of course they were happy to see their daughter happy. They were a bit disappointed that their daughter had not told them, but they knew it was because of them, that she did not say anything of it. Now, they were ready to take that step and truly support her. Just seeing Fahlada and Earn's love for each other is all they care about.
