Not long after the conversation on the couch, the whole group was sat around the table in the kitchen. Jonathan and Nancy put a picture of a seemingly sad girl looking down into a pool onto the table. Some kind of mini radio was put next to it.

This was a bad idea, I knew what Eleven was trying to do, and I knew it wouldn't work, It was like watching someone try to bench press a car while I was holding my breath.

Eleven closed her eyes. A tension took over the room. Everything fell quiet.
No movement, no sounds just my sister, trying to find this kids.

Soon, the lights started flickering, The tension deepened.

The thoughts of the 8 people surrounding weren't helping too,

I heard things like:
"She isn't dying is she?"
Or
"I read somewhere that your nose can start bleeding when you're having a seizure."
"I still think she's crazy."

I tried to shut them out and focussed on Eleven. The girl was losing energy, I could sense it. I knew I needed to stop her when she went too far.

But then she opened her eyes again. And I could almost sense it, it hadn't worked.

She was on the verge of tears. I quickly made my way towards her and wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm sorry" she wispered.

Joyce looked really concerned. "What happened?"

"I can't find them."

Joyce put her hand on her mouth as if she was trying not to cry. Jonathan walked away and I hugged Eleven closer.

Hooper looked at us, "shall we get you freshened up?" He asked.

I nodded and Hopper took us to what he called "A bathroom".

I didn't know why but everything about the outside world was confusing, I mean look at this bathroom. It has a a porcelain thing to shit in and some weird looking cabin with a metal thing sticking out of the ceiling. And what even is a sink?  A freakin machine that gives you water whenever you want? And it's just...there, waiting for you to turn it on? I mean what in the glitter-covered chaos is this shit?

Eleven didn't seem to question it, she just walked towards the sink, wet her hands and made her face wet. No idea why.

She turned the faucet off and turned around, so she could look in my direction.

"The bath" , She wispered.

"El? What?"

"Oh No no no no, that is NOT going to happen,  never in my f@*&ing life!"

El looked at me. "You do it" she said.

"You found me", she said.

I looked down, and back up, but Eleven had already left.

"SHIT" I cursed.

I ran into the kitchen where, the rest of the group were dicussing something seemingly impotant.

I saw El standing just behind them, I was about to get her but before I could get to her she said: "Six can do it."

"Uhm... I mean, I could-"

Joyce cut me off, "Why didn't you say so earlier?"

"Can you find Barbara too?" Nancy asked.

"You cut me off," I said: "I could but only when I am in control, I mean, my powers are great—when they're under control. When they're not, it's like having a live grenade in your hands with no safety pin. Just a small detail I thought I'd mention."

I gave Eleven a dirty look.

"But, hypothetically speaking, you are able to do something like that?" Dustin asked.

"Yes," I aswerred : "But i'd need a bunch of salt and a lot of water."

Dustin was talking to a piece of plastic, and I had no idea what was going on. It was what they called a phone wich practically was how you could have a conversation without having to be in the same room, It was almost like magic—except it was just technology making life less complicated.

Dustin was calling mister Clarke, whoever that that was, he was like a genius who thaught  The three kids their geniusness.

When dustin got of the phone he looked at Joyce.

"Do you still have that kiddie pool we bobbed for apples in?"

"I thinkso- yeah" She answerred.

"Good, then we just need salt, and lots of it."

Hopper raised an eyebrow at that: "How much is lots?"

Dustin looked down at the notes he wrote down whilst on the phone with mister Clarke.
"Uhm... 1500 pounds"

Nancy clearly found this ridiculous. She scoffed. "Well, how are we gonna find that much salt?"
