Bosco wasn't sure if she could call them her new friends, but she did sit with them at one of the booths at the cafe. She could feel eyes on her as she pressed powder against her face and tried her best to ignore it. She wasn't used to people watching as she did her makeup.

But she hadn't felt this warm in a while. Daya's jacket was big on her and smelt just like the blanket. Bosco was trying not to snuggle deeper into it. The material was soft and kept her performance outfit underneath out of eyesight. It was nice.

Daya sat beside her, her knee bouncing anxiously under the table as she slid a paper cup over to her. "Here..." She said softly. "It's hot chocolate. In case you're still cold."

Bosco could feel her heart melting from the kind gesture. She didn't get a lot of those unless it was something purely fueled by lust. But judging by the way Daya could hardly look into her eyes, she wasn't sure if this was one of those times.

"Thank you." She whispered, placing her makeup brush down on the table to take a small sip. The cup was warm in her hands, and that mixed with the warmth from Daya's jacket provided her with comfort she had been seeking for so long. But she wouldn't say that aloud. And she'd have to return the other girl's jacket at the end of the night.

"Your makeup is so pretty." Jasmine said from the other end of the table, watching her intently. "Why don't you do it in the dressing room? I used to do mine there when I still performed. Is the lighting bad? It was usually good for me."

Bosco quickly learned that Jasmine had a lot of questions, but it did peek her interest knowing that she may share a similar history in the same business. "It just gets crowded in there." She said softly. "I usually just do it in my apartment. But you know..."

Daya watched as she drew on a spiked eyebrow, her heartbeat pounding in her chest as her dream from that morning replayed in her head. She somehow managed to make herself blush, and she desperately shook it off before any of the others could see.

But Camden noticed, giving Daya a small smile before she turned to Bosco. "I don't remember ever seeing you before. Have you lived there long?" She asked, fidgeting with her camcorder on the table.

Bosco worked on her other eyebrow, struggling a bit with just her tiny pocket mirror. "Over a year now. It hasn't always been great but it's a lot tougher with the raised rent..."

Daya knew she was in the same situation as her and could hardly help herself, but there was such an overwhelming urge to protect and keep this girl safe. And she had only just officially met her. "I think the first time I saw you there was yesterday." She said, trying not to admire how small Bosco looked in her jacket.

Bosco closed her pocket mirror and ran her fingers through her hair. "I don't really get out much..." She said softly. "Just work and then back home. I'm not the best at talking to people..."

"Neither is Daya." Maddy couldn't help but say from the corner of the booth. Daya blushed yet again, shooting a look at her but only making her smile and Jasmine giggle.

But Bosco didn't seem to notice too much. She glanced out the window before packing up her makeup into her bag. "I should probably get going." She said. "I have an early number and some other ones tonight."

"You walk alone?" Maddy asked her with a raised brow. "Like, to and from? It gets pretty bad out at night when you get off."

Bosco nodded a little. "Yeah, but I haven't had many problems." She said, but she didn't sound very convincing at all. "I'll be fine."

Daya didn't have much time to think. She just knew that the bar she worked at was just down the street from the club Bosco worked at. She worked night shifts, and Bosco worked night shifts. That was really all the math she had to do.
