Daya held an umbrella in one hand and Bosco shyly slipped her own hand into the taller girl's free one as they walked down the street. It was cold and the rain was harsh, making Bosco whine quietly and snuggle closer to Daya's side.

Despite the cold, Daya could feel her face heating up. Bosco was definitely a lot clingier now, and she wasn't complaining at all. Especially now as they walked to the club.

Bosco wished she didn't have to go. She worried about what would be said tonight and what could happen while she was onstage. Underneath Daya's jacket she wore a tiny red dress that left very little to the imagination. She had been looking forward to tonight's performance and she didn't want it ruined.

"I'm performing a new number tonight." She said quietly, gazing up at Daya. She was excited to do it and hadn't ever had someone she could talk about things she was excited for with. "You know Jessica Rabbit? I'm doing a number like that."

Daya felt her cheeks heat up at just the thought of Bosco performing something like that. She had gotten a glimpse of her outfit before they left. And she knew it left little to the imagination. "That'll be great-"

"I hope so..." Bosco looked down, still holding onto Daya's hand. "I just want to enjoy it without being manhandled. Or the other girls saying anything..."

Daya squeezed her hand. "...What time do you go on?"

"I'm on at 2am. That way most of the other girls are gone by then or busy on the other side of the club." Bosco said, shivering and leaning closer against Daya. "I want to be able to enjoy myself..."

Daya got off an hour before that. She'd have to make it. Not just to see Bosco, but to make sure she was safe. She wasn't sure what she'd do if someone tried to touch her, since she'd more than likely get herself kicked out if she tried fighting or something, but at least she'd be there.

Bosco stopped walking when they got to the edge of the alleyway. "Maybe you should leave me here..." She said softly. "I get asked questions about who you are and stuff..."

Daya's heart sank a little, but she nodded. She'd do anything Bosco asked of her. "Alright." She said, hesitating before she let go of her hand. "You know where to find me if you need me."

Bosco wanted to hold onto her hand again. Or hug her again and stay beside her. But she couldn't hide in the safety of Daya's embrace forever. Unfortunately. She just nodded and said goodbye before walking down the alleyway on her own.

Daya watched her go, reminding herself she'd be reunited with her in just a few hours. She made sure she made it in safely before turning to go to work herself. Maybe she was growing a little attached, but she couldn't help herself.

Bosco took a shaky breath when she stepped inside. The music was already loud. She missed when the nightlife was fun for her. When she didn't have to worry all the time. That life felt like so long ago.

"Bosco?" One of the managers called for her as she was making her way to the dreaded dressing room. "Do you mind going out onto the floor tonight? We're short a few girls."

Bosco froze, turning to look over at him. She hated going out on the floor. It was easier for people to touch her out there. "But I-"

"You'll still be onstage at your normal time, promise. We just need someone entertaining people." The manager said as he walked away, not bothering to find out if Bosco was fine with that or not.

She supposed she'd have to be. She sighed, placing her stuff down in the dressing room. She slipped Daya's jacket off, leaving herself in the tiny red dress she had been looking forward to performing in. She'd have to change out of it real quick to go out there. If she stuck to the poles, she should be fine.
