The club was the exact opposite of the vibe back at the apartment building. The lights were bright and the music was loud, and the group of girls were just in time for the burlesque numbers.

With a drink in her hand, Daya followed her friends and tried to avoid brushing up against anyone or getting in someone's way. There were a few girls already onstage entertaining everyone around them, and dollar bills were tossed and cheers were loud as clothing was taken off.

Daya towered above most people, but still stayed close to Camden. "It's crowded-" She said a little nervously.

"A little." Camden has to raise her voice to be heard. She nodded her head to the music playing, making sure Jasmine and Maddy were okay as the two went off to dance a bit further from the stage. "But it's better than sitting in the dark and cold."

Daya wasn't so sure. The bar she worked at was much quieter and frequented by older people most of the time. This was a little new to her. She took to watching the girls onstage, eyes a little wide when seeing how handsy some of the men towards the front of the stage got. The men at the bar she worked at were usually there to hang out with each other and talk about sports and other things Daya didn't quite understand. This was all new territory.

People danced around them as Daya and Camden looked for a spot to enjoy the little show at, deciding to let Jasmine and Maddy blow off their stress on the dancefloor. Daya had to squint to keep the lights from being too much for her, but at least it wasn't dark like their apartment. She took a sip of her drink, hoping it would take her mind off of their problems for just a little bit.

The crowd cheered as the girls onstage finished up and collected their tips. Clothing was gathered up as they went backstage, and it was dark for just a moment as the next act was announced.

When the lights came back on, they were dimmer for this performance and a different song started. An upbeat one with guitar chords that Daya had to admire. She watched as the next performer walked onto the stage with a chair dragging behind her, the screen behind the performer reading "Bosco" in large, bold letters.

The girl set the chair down in the middle of the stage, her back towards the audience that roared for her. The robe that was over her shoulders slid down seductively before dropping onto the floor entirely, revealing the back of a blue corset and matching bra and thong set. Daya's eyes widened and her cheeks reddened. Camden had to laugh when she saw her expression. The taller girl definitely wasn't used to this environment.

But then the girl turned around and Daya almost choked.

That was their downstairs neighbor.

"What's the time?" Bosco sang with a smirk on her face, her fingers fidgeting with the gloves covering her arms. "Well it's gotta be close to midnight." She winked towards the crowd and bills were thrown onto stage at her. "My body's talking to me, it says time for danger."

Daya couldn't help but let her jaw drop. This girl had been living downstairs from her for sixth months and she had no idea. She carried herself with so much confidence. Every step she took in those blue heels made Daya's heart pound in her chest. Camden shook her head and smiled, taking another drink and grabbing her friend's arm to pull her closer to the stage.

"It says I wanna commit a crime, wanna be the cause of a fight." Bosco threw her first glove off, revealing a tatted arm as she worked on the other. She pulled that one off as well, her hands moving to the clasps of the corset. "I wanna put on a tight skirt and flirt with a stranger."

Her body moved so smoothly, so elegantly. Daya swallowed hard, unable to tear her gaze away. Bosco pulled the corset off to reveal the skin of her stomach and sides underneath, and the crowd went even crazier.
