When Bosco opened her eyes, she was so warm. Warmer than she had been in a while. She yawned quietly and snuggled closer into the big pillow her head was nestled against, her arms tightening around her stuffed animal.
But that wasn't a pillow. And that wasn't her stuffed horse. When her senses started to wake up a little more, her eyes widened. Her head was pressed against Daya's chest, and her arms were wrapped around the girl's torso so tightly.
Her head shot up in surprise, her heart pounding in her chest and a blush coating her face. But she relaxed when she saw they were both still clothed, and her gaze softened when she saw Daya's sleeping face and her arm draped over her waist.
She hesitated before curling back up. This was safe. Daya stirred a little, letting out a quiet mumble before Bosco felt herself being pulled closer. She let out a quiet giggle. She liked this. This was nice. This was something she hadn't had before.
The night before was forgotten as she closed her eyes again. Daya's good touch replaced the bad ones. She curled up closer into the taller girl's warmth, unsure if she'd ever be able to sleep alone in her apartment after this.
Daya wasn't used to holding something in her sleep. She opened her eyes to stretch, until feeling Bosco still against her chest. That's when she panicked.
Daya almost fell out of her bed trying to get up, making Bosco jump from the sudden movement. The taller girl's eyes were wide and her heart pounded in her chest as she realized that they had slept together all night. "Oh my I am so sorry-" She apologized quickly, her blush spreading fast. "I didn't mean to be so close- I-"
Bosco sat up and reached out to lay a hand on her arm. "Shh, you don't need to worry." She said softly, a small smile on her face. "It was nice."
Daya looked down at where they touched, her panic slowly draining. "...It was?"
Bosco nodded, carefully pulling Daya back down onto the bed. She pulled herself up closer, laying her head on Daya's shoulder. "Mhm. It's warm. And safe."
Daya watched as Bosco traced a finger over her bicep, her muscles flexing slightly underneath her touch. "O-Oh..." She said, hoping Bosco couldn't hear her heartbeat in her chest. "Okay-"
Bosco suddenly realized what she was doing, her shyness threatening to rebuild the wall that had been broken down that night. "Is this okay...?" She asked in a whisper.
Daya quickly nodded, her back leaning against the headboard. "Of course-" She said. "Whatever makes you feel comfortable-"
Bosco hesitated, deciding to just keep her hands to herself right now but leave her head against Daya's shoulder. But she found herself longing for the taller girl's touch. She was so different. Bosco wanted nothing more than to curl up in her lap and forget about the rest of the world. "Thank you for last night..."
"You don't need to thank me. I get it." Daya said, debating on if she should return the contact or not. She settled for slowly leaning her head on top of Bosco's. "I get them pretty bad sometimes too."
Bosco pulled her legs up to her chest. "...That wasn't the only thing that happened last night..." She whispered. "So thank you for being someone I could come to."
Daya could feel the tension wafting off of her. She looked down at her, not wanting to make any sort of sudden movement even though she longed to wrap a comforting arm around her. She knew something more had happened. "Do you want to talk about it...?"
Bosco hesitated for a moment. "You promise you won't think I'm dirty?"
Daya frowned, not at all liking the sound of that. "I could never think that." She answered honestly.
