They settled into a comfortable routine, one that wasn't very different than when Bosco hadn't officially moved in. Daya doubted she could ever sleep without her again. There was something about the way Bosco curled into her side, something about the way their limbs found each other's and pressed so close together until there was no space for even air between them. It was euphoric in a way. Daya couldn't get enough.
And for Bosco, that was a good thing. Because she had come to the realization that she was a lot clinger than she had thought she was. She loved Daya's touch and only Daya's touch. Nothing else provided comfort quite like this or made her feel so safe. Time spent without her felt so empty. When she returned to her, she felt full again.
When Bosco woke up the morning of her return to work later that day, the bed was empty. She sat up in confusion, missing the warmth that Daya always provided beside her. She stepped out of bed, rubbing her eyes and following the sound of the shower.
Camden was gone already, and the door was cracked open slightly. Bosco hesitated for a moment before pushing the door open, finding Daya's exposed back to her as she untied the strings of her sweatpants.
Bosco gazed at her before stepping into the bathroom with her, wrapping her arms around her waist from behind and resting her head against her back. Daya jumped before looking in the mirror, her body relaxing when seeing Bosco's small frame. "Did I wake you?"
The smaller girl shook her head, one of her fingertips running down the curve of Daya's back and stopping at the dimples below her spine. "No. Just didn't feel you. Want to be close."
Daya turned around, letting Bosco nuzzle her head against her chest instead. She let her hands rest on her hips, pulling them against her own. "Do you um...want to join me?"
Bosco's eyes widened at the invitation. Being official meant exploring a little more. Even after that bath, it still felt new, like exploring new territory. She nodded, pressing a kiss against Daya's butterfly tattoo. "Yes please..."
Daya smiled, kissing the top of her head and taking the end of her shirt in her hands. "May I?"
Bosco was hesitant, but Daya had helped her undress before. She'd be okay. She nodded, raising her arms and letting Daya pull the shirt off over her head. She reached her own hands out, gently tugging at Daya's sweatpants. "Are you sure about this?" She asked, knowing Daya was self-conscious. "I don't want-"
"It's okay, I promise." Daya gave her a small smile, pressing a soft kiss to her lips as her fingers traced the hem of Bosco's panties.
The smaller girl hoped it really was okay. She slid the waistband of Daya's sweats lower, letting them fall to the floor. Bosco's eyes widened slightly, her fingertips resting on the soft material of Daya's thong. "O-Oh-" She stuttered, her face turning red.
"This is literally all you wear onstage sometimes, you can't judge me-" Daya said as she tried to shake away her own blush, turning to make sure the water was warm.
Bosco watched her, her eyes still wide and glancing down at Daya's thighs. She bit her lip, her face hot as she stared. "N-Not judging-" She defended herself. "Just...admiring."
Daya stripped herself completely as she slid the glass door open some more, motioning for a practically drooling Bosco to follow her in.
The smaller girl snapped out of her trance, shedding her panties and locking the bathroom door before she followed Daya in under the warm water. Her girlfriend's hands were immediately back on her hips, pulling her against her body and kissing her under the warm spray of the water.
Bosco smiled into it, her arms sliding up over Daya's shoulders to pull her closer. "You're way prettier than you give yourself credit for." She said against her lips, reattaching them after every word.
