SONG OF THE CHAPTER : "ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?" - TYLER, THE CREATOR— GIA and Marco shared an uncomfortably long moment of eye contact before Marco put his phone away after continuing the video.
He crossed his arms and sat on her bed, his gaze falling to the ground for a moment.
Very mindfully, cautious not to say anything stupid again, Gia just remained quiet.
"What are you doing, Gia?" Marco then questioned bitterly, a slight chuckle of disbelief following his words.
"What are you talking about?" Gia scoffed, raising a confused brow as to what he was referring to.
"You know what I mean." Marco scowled, the vein in his temple pulsing as his yearning to be understood grew and morphed into frusteration.
"No, I don't. Care to elaborate?" Gia wondered sarcastically. "With Niccolo. What the hell are you doing with him? How are your parents even allowing it?" Marco scoffed, as if it wasn't the most obvious thing. He stood up and stepped over to Gia.
"What, now you ask me? He and I are dating, Marco. And it doesn't matter if my parents allow it or not, they're not going to control me." Gia argued.
Marco rolled his eyes, not finding it to make any sense. Opening his mouth to speak, Gia stopped him by speaking herself.
"I could ask you why you cheated on me, lied to me. But you're too much of a liar you wouldn't say anything, will you?" Gia sneered.
"You don't know what the hell you're talking about!" Marco jeered, sitting up from the bed and approaching Gia, towering right over her.
"What are you doing? Back off. Are you going to hit me or something?" She scoffed, cocking a provoking brow.
"Well, I sure don't see your little boyfriend around to stop me." Marco let out a chuckle at her attempt to try and provoke him or merely piss him off.
"Doesn't have to be her boyfriend to stop you, asshole, now walk on out." Ludovica burst into the room, the door swinging open.
Marco's laughter grew once again, shifting glances with the girls. "This is just pure ridiculousness." He said between laughs and dying chuckles as he walked out of the room, bumping past Ludo.
Gia let out a small chuckle too. "Where the hell did you come from?" She grinned, walking over to the girl.
"I came to look for you, Niccolo's here and asked where you were." Ludovica explained. "Oh, okay. Thanks, let him know I'll be out there soon." Gia told the girl.
"Oh god, am I your messenger now?" She grumbled jokingly before walking off down the hall, shutting the door behind her.
Gia locked the door to prevent anyone else from walking in, and she hurried to change into a tank top and a skirt with boots, taking some inspiration from what Chiara and Ludo were wearing since she had no idea what to wear.
