(new thing im
doing again)SONG OF THE CHAPTER : "SLUT!" - TAYLOR SWIFT
— GIA ended up going with Vitto to the convenience store while the other boys kept smoking.
Sat in the silent car, Gia stared out the window, her fingers fidgeting with the hem on her sleeve anxiously due to Vitto's silence.
"So, what did you want to get from the store?" Gia wondered, craning her head to look at Vitto.
"Just a few more beers." Vitto shrugged in response, glancing to Gia as he spoke.
Gia nodded, taking in his words before she turned back to look outside the window.
Vittorio glanced over to her yet again, his brows knitting together. "So, look, I guess I'm just not understanding... how you and Niccolo started dating." He mentioned.
Gia's jaw clenched as she was juggling between excuses, maybe even re-telling the story. "Well... we told you the story, didn't we?" She questioned.
"Yes, but it doesn't make sense to me. Niccolo was with Virginia for six years, and you were with Marco Perkins, no reason to leave him." Vittorio elaborated.
"Why are you saying I had no reason to leave Marco? You have absolutely no idea. He's not some fucking god and I'm tired of everyone treating him like it when all he is, is way less than that." Gia ranted, rolling her eyes.
Vitto just went quiet, finding no worth in starting an argument with her. And at his silence, Gia only grew angrier when she knew she shouldn't.
Not wanting to create a scene she knew she couldn't handle, she spoke up, taking off her seatbelt, "You know what, just drop me off right here. Tell Niccolo I went home."
"What?" Vittorio blurted out, taken by surprise. He watched her gather her purse and hop out the car, the door shutting behind her.
He watched her walk off, realizing that the light was green, and he had to stop being frozen.
THE NEXT DAY.
Gia pulled herself out of bed, exiting her room to go to her brother's.
Pushing the door a creak open, she found that he was still asleep. Smiling to herself softly, she returned to her room to grab her clothes out for the day.
Hearing her phone beep across the room, she made her way over to it and picked it up.
Scrolling through her notifications from overnight, she found a few random notifications from apps, texts from Niccolo, and some from Chiara just now.
