— GIA walked into school, her hands curled into fists tightly as anger blazed in her eyes. She was still furious with her parents and that whole situation. As she walked down the halls, she found Niccolo talking to Brando at Brando's locker.
As Gia approached, a harsh shoulder turned her round. Immediately, she drew back and looked at the figure who'd stopped her. Marco, as expected.
Gia let out the most devastating sigh known to man at the mere sight of Marco.
"What do you want?" She questioned, crossing her arms, her fingers impatiently tapping her arm.
"Just to talk... I'm not trying to argue." Marco admitted, his hand sliding from her shoulder to rest at his side in a fist.
"There's nothing to talk about." Gia shook her head in refusal, a slight scoff of pity at the desperation in his eyes.
By the slightest hit, Marco's eyes glinted with irritation, but they quickly faded back to their normality.
"There's actually a lot." Marco huffed, mirroring her stance and crossing his arms.
"Yeah, a lot I don't want to talk about." Gia scoffed, attempting to turn away and walk off, to continue her way over to Niccolo.
Marco caught her wrist quickly, but Gia only pulled away aggressively, making sure he felt the force from her drawing back as she walked off. "Gia!" Marco called after her, but she didn't pay him another second of acknowledgement.
She approached Brando and Niccolo. Brando craned to Gia, nudging Niccolo and motioning over to her.
Niccolo took his hint and glanced over, finding Gia standing at his side.
"I'm going to go find Vitto." Brando concluded his conversation with Niccolo, wiggling his brows as he stepped away.
Niccolo rolled his eyes at Brando's gesture, making Brando laugh to himself as he walked off.
"You didn't text me all day yesterday? Did I make you that mad?" Niccolo asked, his hands in his pockets.
"No, my parents took my phone," Gia scoffed. "They want me to stay away from you but they won't even know I'm with you right now."
"Yeah, they called my parents last night and told them too." Niccolo sighed, leaning his back against Brando's locker.
"Well, I'm grounded for the rest of the month. I don't know what we're going to do." Gia commented, sighing in disappointment.
"Have you not snuck out before?" Niccolo scoffed, raising a brow as he made his way out to one of the exits to the outside walkways. Gia followed, shaking her head.
"No, I'm mainly a good kid." She scoffed too, almost annoyed by the question, the morning breeze hitting her as they stepped outside.
Finding a secluded corner, Niccolo lit himself a cigarette, earning an eye roll of disapproval from Gia.
