When she woke up at Kocho's, it was in the middle of the night. She didn't know what day it was, but some of her body was covered in bandages. She looked to her side and saw Tengen sitting on an armchair, trying his best to not fall asleep. His hair was down, he was in his yukata (an informal, more casual version of a kimono), and without his markings.
"You're awake!" He had dark bags under his eyes, but he was fully awake when he saw her move. "How are you feeling, my love?" He quick moved to her side, too scared to even touch her for how frail she looked.
"You look..." she took a pause because of how everything hurt. "...like a zombie".
He weakly laughed as he leaned to kiss her face, "god, I can finally breathe now." He took a deep breath when her scent trickled his nose. She moved a little to give him some space on her bed and he joined her. It was a little bigger than a single bed but he wrapped his arms around her to make sure she didn't fall off.
"How did you find me?" She finally asked.
"I'm a Sound Hashira," he proudly said. "And your Breathing Style is just made for mine. I got your signal loud and clear. But was so weird, the trees were trinkling with a certain eerie melody."
He was so relieved to have found her when he did. He was losing his mind.
When she placed her head on his chest, warmth flooded into her body; and she felt like she was home.
And Tengen was finally asleep.
She woke up to an empty bed, it was bright in the day. But the commotion made her wince a little with how it made her head reel.
"She's asleep! Get out!" She heard Tengen's voice outside the door. "I'm awake." She said from behind the door and he grumpily opened it to let the kids in, "if I find you bothering her, I'll throw you out in the flashiest way possible!"
"MIYUKI SAN, YOU ARE ALIVE!" Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke came running in with bandages all over them.
"Why are you guys wounded? What happened to you?," Tengen helped her sit up.
"We went to the Swordsmith Village with Tokito san and Kanroji san, thanks to your intel. The two upper moons that escaped from Uzui san ended up going there!"
"WHAT?! I must go-"
"They're all fine!" Tanjiro said, "nobody's in danger and the upper moons have been taken care of!"
She was, however, very surprised to see Nezuko run to her and tried to cover her with her blanket, "Why is she out like this? Someone please get her box!" She panicked but heard everyone laugh.
"Yuki..." Tengen said, "she has conquered the sun."
Miyuki gasped before hugging Nezuko, "oh, I'm so proud of you, my little baby. Did the meanies scare you too much?" And Nezuko nodded with a small pout, "they did. It was very scary."
"You can even talk!" She cupped Nezuko's face with both her hands, "this is wonderful news." Nezuko shrunk in size before crawling into Miyuki's arms like a baby, craving for her warmth again. She was so motherly and Nezuko had missed her very much.
"Nezuko! She's wounded!" Tanjiro tried to get her to stop but she wouldn't let go of Miyuki, "that's okay, Tanjiro. I'm not in a lot of pain anymore."
Tengen just watched her interact with a small Nezuko and his brain chemistry changed a little. They looked so good together, and Miyuki was great with the kids.
"Is my father alright?" She didn't move her eyes from Nezuko's now sleeping figure. She was too scared to know.
"I'm doing well," her head whipped towards the door as Hotaru walked in.
"You didn't want me there, did you?"
"Yes." He said, "I didn't want you to lose your cool. You wouldn't let me sharpen his blade otherwise!"
"What a dumb excuse." She rolled her eyes.
"Huh??? I didn't want you to carelessly get yourself killed! I didn't raise you all these years just so you can die before my eyes."
"I'm not that weak."
"I know you're not. But I know you would be the minute you saw me," his voice softened, "you're my little girl."
"Huh? I don't know about that," Miyuki shrugged, "I'm not even your daughter anymore."
It took him his entire will power to apologise to her.

Once she was fully healed, she made an appointment with Ubuyashiki to give him all the intel that she had on the Infinity Castle. It was early in the morning and Tengen was still asleep when she left. She was at Tengen's for a while since old lady Tsubari offered to help till she got better.
Sanemi and Obanai had also come in contact with the Castle but had completely forgotten to mention it in their Hashira Meeting, getting an earful from all the other Hashira.
"Thank you for the valuable information, Miyuki. We're now closer than anybody ever was. I have to speak with you and Himejima one of these days." He said when they were alone. "I'll let you know of my thoughts on this soon. We must tread with extra caution from now onwards."
When Miyuki reached his place, she could hear the loud ruckus from outside.
"What's going on?" She entered the house and saw Tsubari trying to calm Tengen down.
"I can't find her! She was right next to me, you can't understand! I must go-"
"Tengen sama?" She was at the door trying to figure out what was happening.
"Where did you go?!" He was panicking, "I looked for you everywhere! You just disappeared again."
"I'm sorry, I had to go to Ubuyashiki's" she apologised as she gave the giant man a hug.
"Don't do that to me..." he whined in her hold, "don't leave me like that."
"Aww, did you have a nightmare?"
"Yeah." He whispered and she almost laughed.
"I won't leave you again without telling you. I promise."
