Arienna's POV
I continued to be a responsible teenager while my mom was working hard as a provider and a mother. Mariah was already figuring out what she wanted to do on her 18th birthday. She was so happy and excited. After all working at Wendy's didn't seem bad for me cause I started liking it at the end. But I knew my sister and I couldn't work at Wendy's any longer cause the fact of us moving away from Germany very soon once my sister graduates. Thanksgiving and Christmas break was amazing. We ate, went out to celebrate, and had a big Christmas tree in the house. I didn't celebrate Halloween because I never liked Halloween even as a kid growing up. My mom use to let Mariah and I eat candy and popcorn when we were kids every time halloween came around. Rob and I continued to be friends and had great memories as friends. But there were many times where things didn't really go well with his girlfriend Gina after I secretly saw them having sex in the girls bathroom from Wendy's. I still haven't told no one about me seeing Rob having sex with Gina. I knew Rob and Gina's relationship wasn't going to last. One time she got mad at Rob cause Rob was super busy he couldn't talk to her and she got mad because of that. There were many times where I use to look at my window and see Rob and Gina arguing and Gina becoming aggressive towards him. She use to pull his hair and slapping and kicking him in the face. Most of the arguments was about her bragging about him not financially supporting her and paying bills in her house. But Rob told me every time he gave her money for the bills, food, and financial support she would buy some clothes and other materialistic things for herself. I wanted to defend Rob so bad but I stayed in a child's place. Deep down I just wanted Rob to break up with her

January 22nd 1985
Arienna's POV
Mariah and i decided to go to Wendy's to tell our manager about us not wanting to work at Wendy's anymore due to us leaving Germany soon. We returned our outfits and everything to the manager. Mom was the one who believed it was time for us to quit our job. I knew the manager was gonna be sad.

Manager: you girls did an amazing job working here. I'm proud of you girls and I know ms Jefferson is too

Arienna: yeah I know

Manager: I'm gonna miss you girls as workers. Y'all are going to be successful in life. Mariah I know you're happy that you're graduating

Mariah: yeah I am. Tired of school

Manager: i understand. I know I've been a jerk as a manager but I've always been that way..all my life. But you're gonna meet people that are probably ten times worse than me. But you girls are gonna be successful and I want you girls to be prepared for the real world cause the world is wicked and evil

Arienna: you don't have to tell me that.. I already knew that.

Manager: I'll never forget you girls. Just live your life and be happy that God is letting you girls breath every day

Mariah: amen brother

Manager: stay strong. Enjoy your life

Arienna smiles

Mariah: What are you gonna do with your money Arienna?

Arienna: I'm saving it

Mariah: For what

Arienna: I don't know. Just in case if something important happens. You'll never know

Mariah: yeah you're right about that. Are you easy to leave Germany?

Arienna: no.

Mariah: why? Because of Rob?

Arienna: yeah. I just hope he be alright once we're gone.

Mariah: Rob's gonna be just fine.

Arienna: that's what you think. His girlfriend is controlling and sort of abusive towards him. You know the story Mariah.
