July 12th 1985
Arienna's POV I didn't get the chance to meet Bill Cosby after meeting the cast members, the producers, executives, and other people who were apart or worked for the show and worked with bill Cosby. Meeting everyone made me feel a lot better. When I met Phylicia rashad I was so happy to meet her because I always thought she was pretty. I was a big fan of here and Justice even though they didn't get along nor talked to each other that much due to the scandal that took place in 1984 where Justice burned down her ex husband's house. After meeting everyone on set one of the executives gave me the script for season two. I was told to be ready to rehearse and practice the the lines from the scripts next week. My mom was with me the whole time when I met everyone. When I was memorizing the scripts already while I was sitting down I felt someone tapped me on my shoulder. As soon as I turned around it was bill Cosby. Come to find out it was a surprise and he was on set the whole time where I met everyone
Arienna gasp
Arienna: hi Mr Cosby...(in disbelief)
Bill: hi LilaKoi. It's nice to meet you
Arienna: nice to meet you too Mr Cosby..(shakes bill Cosby's hand) I've always been a fan of you
Bill: thank you.
Arienna: so you were here the whole time?
Bill: yeah kid. You're gonna have a great acting career kid. I can see it already
Arienna: (smiles) mr Cosby this is my mom Ms Jefferson, mom this is bill Cosby even though you know
Alison: (shakes bill Cosby's hand) nice to meet you Bill. You're a genius
Bill: nice to meet you. Your child is very talented
Alison: she sure is.. my daughter is a great kid. She always wanted to be a star ever since she was a baby. She's a strong girl. Always has been and always will be.
Arienna smiles
A day after meeting everyone on set
Alison: Arienna, why did you tell everyone that your name is LilaKoi?
Arienna: because I want LilaKoi to be my acting career name. It's a cool unique name. Everyone's last name is Jefferson and I never liked my name Arienna. Whoever gave me that name I wanna meet them and ask them why they gave me that ridiculous Spanish name
Alison: your name is beautiful. Always remember that. Someone gave you that name for a reason
Arienna: yeah right
Alison: no I'm being dead serious.
Alison: Be ready for next week. Season two and episode 1 will be released on august 13. So you're gonna be busy in July. You're gonna be shooting up scenes for episode 1, 2, 3, and it goes on and on until season 2 ends.
Arienna: how long do you think season two is gonna last
Alison: for about 4 or 5 months. Not only you're gonna be busy in school but every time an episode is released you're gonna be working on the next episode right away every week. That's why you have to memorize all of those lines immediately right now.
Arienna: (grabs the script) I'm about to right now even though I know most of the scripts and the lines.
Alison: alright. Make sure Be ready for next week
Arienna: I will
July 19th 1985 Arienna's POV I've been working so hard with trying to memorize the lines from the scripts for season two before school starts around august. I knew I was going to be exhausted however I had to make sure I rehearsed, practiced, and study. This day I was so tired but I kept on pushing through. Minutes later I needed a break. When I took me a break I decided to make up my bed and started singing in order for the stress to go away. I started singing my eyes out and was hitting notes including runs, riffs, and whistle notes. I always had a raspy but a raw voice. I had like a soul but a strong heavy unique voice. I did not sound the same when I sung songs. My speaking voice and singing voice were two different things. I started singing one of Tamari's old popular songs called You And I. I never wanted to be a singer but I knew I had the pipes to become one. Singing was never my thing and I didn't run for it. The only thing I wanted to do was act, and become a model. But the whole time my mom heard me singing and slowly entered my room. My mom couldn't believe that I had another talent I never told anyone about
Alison: girl....
Arienna: hey mom
Alison: girl you have an amazing voice. How come you never told us you can sing
Arienna: I never wanted to sing. It's not in me. That's why I hid it. But I know how to change my singing voice by hiding it. I can hide my singing voice.
Alison: why?
Arienna: because I'm not into the music industry
Alison: So you're telling me you can sing terribly in order for people to think that you're an okay singer and hid the singing that God gave you
Arienna: yeah
Alison: I'm my goodness. Arienna...(scoffs) Arienna?
Arienna: yeah mom
Alison: if something was to ever happen to me promise me you'll sing and show people your other hidden talent
Arienna: mom-
Alison: Arienna. I want you to sing-
Arienna: but I don't want to mom. I want to stick to acting and modeling
Alison: alright...fine. But promise me you'll do what I just told you
Arienna: yeah. Yes I would do it. But not right now.
Alison: I want you to do it while I'm gone. Promise
Arienna: promise
Alison: alright...I'll leave you alone.
Arienna: mom don't tell anyone
Alison: I won't Arienna...I won't (closes the door behind her)
