April 15th 1985
Arienna's POV My mom threw a huge birthday party for my sister's 18th birthday. We decorated the whole house and had lots of balloons and flowers. It was just us three but Rob did visit to say happy birthday to Mariah since my mom invited him over. Rob did hug my family and i. We also had food and a huge birthday cake. Mariah was so happy and dressed very nicely like a princess. She was so pretty. She looked like a black Barbie doll.
Arienna: you look very pretty
Mariah: thank you sis..(smiles) Rob I'm glad you came here
Rob: aw I had to come here to say happy birthday to you.
Mariah: I'm glad you did rob.
Arienna: where's mom?
Mariah: I think she's in the kitchen getting ready for the cake.

Mom: food's ready!
Mariah: come on guys. Let's eat
Mariah's POV We had a great time on my birthday. We ate good and I had the chance to blow the birthday cake candles out. After the party was over Rob had to leave for work. I listened to music on the radio until it was late time. The next day it was a school day. I couldn't wait to graduate from high school and get my diploma.
June 4th 1985. 4 hours after graduation Mariah: I finally got my diploma!
Mom: I'm very proud of you sweetheart. I'm proud of the both of you girls.
Arienna smiles
Mom: it'll be your turn in 2 years Arienna
Arienna: I know. But I'll be around kids. Mariah's graduation was different. You didn't have to wear a cap and gown. But I'll be in high school again once we move to Cali.
Mom: true but I'm glad you mentioned that Arienna cause we'll be out of here on June 11th. Early in the morning. We have to clean this house and I have to sell this house so once we're gone another family or person will move here.
Arienna: someone's gonna live here once we're gone?
Mom: yep.
Arienna: oh man
Mom: but don't worry Arienna. The memories will last forever. I'll be right back girls. Gotta use the bathroom (goes upstairs)
Arienna: congrats sis. You finally did it
Mariah: thank you sis. Oh-did you tell Rob about us moving, Arienna?
