June 28th 1985 Arienna's POV After coming home from work I told my mom about the guy who told me that he wanted to contact my mom in order for my mom to know about him being bill Cosby's assistant. Mariah was upstairs getting ready to take a shower. I didn't know My mom was very busy with building her own salon but I really needed her to hear what I had to say
Arienna: Mom I really need you to hear me on this one. He works for bill Cosby. He told me I'll be the perfect role as Denise Huxtable because I do resemble Phylicia rashad. He gave me his phone number so you can call him
Alison: Arienna...
Arienna: What mom?! This could be a great idea
Alison: Sweetheart i understand you want to be a star but I just want you to focus on school first.
Arienna: Mom I can do both.
Alison: How? And How did you meet this guy
Arienna: He was my customer from Mezza Luna. I believe I'm the perfect role for this
Alison: Arienna you've never been in the acting industry
Arienna: But I always wanted to be an actress and model. Please can you do this one thing for me. Can you call him tomorrow morning? The only thing I have to do is audition. I'm the perfect role for Denise Huxtable.
Alison: Okay I will. But we will see...what's his name anyway?
Arienna: Michael ravens...
Next day
Arienna's POV I went downstairs hearing my mom talking to Michael Ravens in the living room kitchen about me. I could tell Michael really wanted my mom to say yes . But I could also tell my mom just wanted to protect me.
Alison: I just want the best for my daughters
Michael: i understand that. I really do
Alison: it's just she's so young and...she went through too much in her life.
Michael: she will always be safe. Bill is a Great guy. But this show needs someone who can make this show famous and he well known around the world and I think your daughter is the perfect one. She's gonna change this show. She's the one. The only thing I need from you is either a yes or no.
Alison: fine...yes. She can audition but it's just this one thing...I'm gonna be her manager.
Michael: cool...we can definitely do that. Thank you
Alison: no problem. I guess i have to work twice as hard than I've ever done before.
A week after the audition for Denise Huxtable Arienna's POV I remember being so nervous. I kept looking at the phone and always answered it every time but it was never about the audition. I was told that bill Cosby's assistant Michael would call me to tell me if I got the part of not. One day a week after the audition I was in the kitchen room sitting on the chair waiting for the phone to ring while Mariah was in the kitchen washing dishes. My mom was watching tv in the living room. I kept staring at the phone so much my sister thought I was daydreaming
Mariah: Arienna, are you daydreaming? Arienna? Arienna?!!
Arienna: (looks at Mariah) what?!!
Mariah: are you alright?! You were looking like as if you were daydreaming
Arienna: I'm sorry... it's just I've never been so nervous all my life

Mariah: they're gonna call okay? Don't panic. You know Mr Cosby be busy all the time. He's an actor and a hardworking man...
Arienna: (takes a deep breath) yeah I know
Mariah: don't be stressed out...they're gonna call. I know they will
Phone rings. Arienna immediately jumps and answers the phone
Arienna: hello? Mm-hmm. Yes this is Arienna Jefferson...yeah...yeah...............(gasp)..(tries not to scream)...yes!...yes, yes!!..thank you so much!! (Smiles)...yeah...when do I have to come in?...okay...when will they give me the lines to remember?...okay..thank you so much again...okay..bye...(hangs up) I got the part!!! (Screams)
Mariah screams with Arienna as she hugs Arienna
Arienna: I got the part!!! (Screams) oh my God!!
Alison rushes to the kitchen
Alison: what the hell is going on?! Did somebody break in-I was falling asleep-
Arienna: mom they called me-
Alison: who called-
Arienna: Michael! He called me! He told me I got the part! Bill picked me!!
Alison gasp
Arienna: I'm so happy!
Alison: (hugs Arienna) congratulations sweetie. I'm very proud of you..(pats Arienna in the back)
Arienna: thank you mom. Thank you for saying yes.
Alison smiles
Arienna's POV I felt so much relief after finding out I got the part. Michael told me that bill and his members are working on the scripts for season two. He told me the exact date to come in and meet the cast members and everyone. I couldn't wait to meet bill Cosby. I've always been a fan of him ever since I was a little girl. I couldn't wait.
