HELAENA AND RHAENYRA.
The day the queen found out about her son's passing was the day her world truly began to fall apart. Silence only came out of her mouth, Rhaenyra forbidding herself to speak to anyone. "Your Grace?" Helaena spoke, barely a whisper as she entered Rhaenyra's chambers— Daemon nowhere to be seen. The queen only turned to look at her sister, who stood by the door. "You weren't present during supper."
She could only look away. Helaena taking it as a sign to sit right in front of her, quietly observing the wind with her sister. "I'm not hungry, Helaena."
"I know."
Rhaenyra lets out a loud sigh, covering her face. "I'm so sorry, it's just–"
"You need not to explain yourself, sister," Helaena interrupted, shaking her head. "Grief is not something that we're unfamiliar with, but it is painful to go through time again... It's a wonder how people expect us to recover so fast."
