The council gathered before Rhaenyra once more, Lord Corlys presenting himself to Rhaenyra. He expressed his full support as the head of House Velaryon, which brings some sort of relief to the Queen. Of course, talks about how to go about the matter at hand continued. Jace couldn't help it, he wanted to help in the cause. But the opportunity to wasn't provided just yet, so he tried to find a way to seize it. He wanted to be of use, and even if it meant to fight in battle, fly over the Stepstones to watch over the ships, or even confront Aegon himself, Jace would. "If we are to have enough swords to surround King's Landing, we must first secure the support of Winterfell, the Eyrie, and Storm's End."

"We should bear those messages," Jace interrupted, all eyes on the Velaryon. "Dragons can fly faster than ravens and they're more convincing. Send us."
"The prince is right, Your Grace," Corlys agreed. His mother paused, looking at him and his brother who stood on the opposite side of the table. Rhaenyra wondered if this was a decision she'd regret, but she knew it was a moment she had to take.
